Errata: Correction to Haynes manual 3260

Errata: Correction to Haynes manual 3260[850][95] dave -- Saturday, 17 November 2001, at 4:53 p.m.

     On page 9-4, 1st paragraph (3.):

"Remove the protective caps over the two caliper guide pins then unscrew
both pins using a 7 mm hexagonal socket"

     WRONG.

A 7mm hex socket is utterly useless for this task. What is needed is
a 7mm hex shaft (iow, allen wrench).

I guess I shouldn't have expected the Brits to know English (and, after
all, both words begin with an 's', so this is perfectly understandable...)!

dave: so IOW, if you follow the manual's directions and only have Sockets, you get the Shaft! In-te-res-ting...VE-ry in-te-res-ting....--PD
