I have redone some of articles from my old boatbuilding web site in .pdf file format, which can be viewed on any computer using the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader. Sorry about the file size for those of you, like me, with dialup connections, but this way I can upload just one file. The good news is that each file contains a complete article several pages long, including the photos that I had to remove in the past, ready to save or print. Enjoy!
Boats I have built
Bolger Brick Tetard (400k)
A first-time boatbuilder tackles a boxy 8 sailing dinghy.
Bolger Yellow Leaf (164k)
A second boatbuilding project, this time a 16 flat-bottomed canoe.
Bolger June Bug Polliwog
My third boat, a 15 skiff, now resides in my in-laws barn in France.
No article on this one yet, but I am happy to answer questions.
The boat I am building
Bolger Tortoise
My latest project, a slightly modified 7 Tortoise punt, basically a smaller Tetard.
This one was actually commissioned by an owner impatient to get on the water.
Pics and article to follow.
Boats I would like to build
Bolger Tennessee, a 29 outboard cruiser
Bolger Mouser,16 catboat
Any number of bluewater cruisers by George Buehler
I recently purchased plans for the first two boats from Phil Bolger & Friends, Inc. after we decided to shelve a project that I had commissioned to transform the 20 Zephyr design in to an outrigger canoe. Both of these are someday, somewhere projects I hope to put together articles on both, and I have put in a request to International Marine (now a division of McGraw Hill) for permission to reprit the chapter on Mouser from Bolgers out-of-print book Small Boats.

From the author
After a year or so without a web site, thanks to the vagaries of free web hosting, I have finally found the time to put a little something together. Im going to keep it simple for now, since Yahoo! Geocities no longer provides free .ftp file transfer, but hopefully that will encourage me to update the site more often.
Let us know if you still check this site, and what youd like to see here. Check back from time to time to see whats been added.
Regards to all,
