Music Z Zero Zero UFO

ZED YAGO - From Over Yonder [CD/1988] 8/10=Their first album, and already you can hear the wonderful harmonies and atmosphere this band invoked during their prime, when they had Jutta.
ZED YAGO - Pilgrimage [CD/1988] 10/10=I absolutely adore this record. It's very simple, heavy metal, sometimes power metal, and they have a great female vocalist in Jutta Weinhold, and play epic girl pirate metal...
ZED YAGO - The Invisible Guide [DVD16/2005] 6/10=Anyway you try to slice it, they are just not as good with this singer as they were with Jutta. It doesn't help that the songs are also not as good period. Not bad though.

ZENI GEVA - Total Castration [CD/1991] 9/10=One of my favorite bands, noisy, crazy Japanese rock and roll. Completely tortured and fascinating, and like no other.
ZENI GEVA - Desire for Agony [CD/1993] 10/10=Simply a musical masterpiece, all of this drone/doom rock people think is so great from today? Zeni Geva did it a LONG fucking time ago, and better.
ZENI GEVA - Nai-Ha [CD/1993] 10/10=This album has provoked an uncontrollable madness within my soul on more than one occasion.
ZENI GEVA - All Right, You Little Bastards [CD/1993] 5/10=As live albums go, it is one of the best I've heard, of course I'm crazy about Zeni Geva so I might be ever so slightly biased.
ZENI GEVA - Freedom Bondage [CD/1995] 10/10=One of the greatest albums ever conceived by human beings. Fascinating, noisy, musical, every song is a twisting, juicy mystery. Basically Japan's Voivod. THAT good.
ZENI GEVA - 10,000 Light Years [CD/2001] 9/10=This band makes me want to collapse, they are just so damned good, a nice catch for the Neurot label, and this is their latest new material.

ZNOWHITE - Demo [CD/1981] 5/10=The demo is pretty good, I'm honored to have it simply because I loved this band so much.
ZNOWHITE - All Hail to Thee [CD/1984] 6/10=An excellent band with one of the better female vocalists ever in metal, she was no fairy cunt. This EP isn't as thrash as their later material.
ZNOWHITE - Kick 'Em When They're Down [CD/1985] 7/10=Heavier than the EP, this is also very brief, but shows some improvement.
ZNOWHITE - Act of God [CD/1988] 9/10=What in fuck's name...the band switches to a much more aggressive, apocalyptic thrash sound and so does the singer...possibly the best performance by a female vocalist on a metal album. "Two may enter...one may leave!"

ZYKLON - World ov Worms [CD/2001] 7/10=Samoth's new band, and essentially this is brutal death metal with his signature guitar riffing, it's a good album but perhaps a little overrated by the legions of Emperor fanboy jackals.
ZYKLON - Aeon [CD/2003] 8/10=This is more interesting, and of course more technical than the last album, still not perfect but I've listened to it several times and it grew on me.
ZYKLON - Disintegrate [CD/2006] 7/10=Another ferocious record from Zyklon, I didn't enjoy this quite as much as Aeon but it still has a lot of interesting and brutal composition. So far it seems they can do no wrong.
