Music H all Heads will turn to the Hunt

HACAVITZ - Hacavitz [CD/2004]
HACAVITZ - Venganza [CD/2005] 7/10=Pretty unique Mexican death metal, often quite creepy, this is a band to pay attention to, we get far too few quality bands from that area and here is one worth notice.
HACAVITZ - Katun [CD/2007] 10/10=Mindblowingly evil and violent Mexican death metal, a flawless effort of brutality and the best Mexican death record ever made, that I have heard at least. And I've heard a lot.

HAIL OF BULLETS - Demo [DVD123/2007] 4/5=Killer new death metal demo from Martin van Drunen, also members of Thanatos and Gorefest. A Dutch all star band basically, and van Drunen's vocals are their best since Pestilence.
HAIL OF BULLETS - Of Frost and War [CD/2008] 9/10=Crushing debut album, old school death metal, Van Drunen's vocals shine here as they did in the old Pestilence days, great great album for the old school death fan.

HALFORD - Resurrection [CD/2000] 9/10=A great record by any account, with some diverse and catchy tunes, ranging from the standard Priest power metal style to more commercial heavy rock, and a nice duet with Bruce Dickinson.
HALFORD - Live Insurrection [CDx2/2001] 4/10=Sure, the ex-vocalist for Priest who has now returned can get away with a double-CD live set, right? Doesn't make it right.
HALFORD - Crucible [CD/2002] 7/10=Surprisingly, despite the fact there are still some good tunes on this, it is a bit weaker than Resurrection. Production values here are far less of what you would expect.
HALFORD - Forgotten Generation [DVD8/2007] 2/3=It's one track only, but it's better than anything on the last Judas Priest record. The reunion one. Go figure.

HALLOWS EVE - Tales of Terror [CD/1985] 7/10=One of my fave American thrash bands from down South, raw, rocking, and not even remotely pretentious.
HALLOWS EVE - Death and Insanity [CD/1986] 7/10=Another good offering from this Carolina band.
HALLOWS EVE - Monument [CD/1988] 8/10=They cleaned their sound up a bit, but I still love this album, as simplistic as it is, my fave by them.

HAMMERS OF MISFORTUNE - The Bastard [CD/2001] 8/10=It's no wonder they are so good, they've got Scalzi of Slough Feg at the helm. Another amazing folk/metal/progressive hybrid band from the same man!
HAMMERS OF MISFORTUNE - The August Engine [CD/2003] 9/10=Astoundingly good...better than the debut album, Scalzi scores yet again.
HAMMERS OF MISFORTUNE - The Locust Years [CD/2006] 7/10=I don't like it nearly as much as the previous albums, for one thing it might just be me, but there are too many fairy metal vocals on some of the tracks. Good but not great.

HAUJOBB - Homes & Gardens [CD/1993] 8/10=Excellent, bizarre industrial/EBM, one of my favorite bands in this field. Always interesting to me.
HAUJOBB - Freeze Frame Reality [CD/1994] 9/10=In their earlier career Haujobb was a bridge spanning the surreal electro madness of Skinny Puppy and the modern EBM of today. This is a fantastic album.
HAUJOBB - Cleaned Vision [CD/1996] 6/10=Cool EP with three mixes of the title track and two versions of "Net Culture".
HAUJOBB - Solutions for a Small Planet [CD/1996] 9/10=Great record, one of the very best from this innovative electronic artist.
HAUJOBB/WUMPSCUT - Remix Wars [CD/1996] 8/10=What more do you want? Haujobb and Wumpscut mixing off one another, both in fine form.
HAUJOBB - From Homes to Planets [CD/1997] 10/10=If Polarity isn't their best record, then this is. A wondrous journey of epic electronic proportions, ever tune drew me in completely before spitting me out into the mundane world.
HAUJOBB - Ninetynine [CD/1999] 5/10=What happened...sandwiched between their two greatest albums is this mediocre offering...it's not quite as bad as most EBM/industrial fans make it out to be, but it's lacking.
HAUJOBB - Polarity [CD/2001] 10/10=What more do I say? I love this album, to me it is their career best, with a perfect production and a unique blend of dark, often minimal industrial pop. And it sounds really like noone else...
HAUJOBB - Penetration [CD/2002] 4/10=Eh...well it has some nice mixes, but you know how I generally feel about this type of release. It involves anal, and rape.
HAUJOBB - Vertical Theory [CD/2003] 8/10=I was not as impressed with this album as with Polarity, the material is weaker although he still pulls off a few excellent Haujobb tracks. Somewhat less complex than previous outings.
HAUJOBB - Vertical Mixes [CD/2005] 6/10=There is some interesting remix works here like Shok's "Scrambled Egg mix" of "S_adow" but I'd rather have a new Haujobb record.

HEADHUNTER - Parody of Life [CD/1990] 8/10=While Schmier was taking a break before the Destruction 'comeback', he was doing this similar, excellent band, thrash with a bit of straight up heavy metal.
HEADHUNTER - A Bizarre Gardening Accident [CD/1992] 8/10=Schmier's Headhunter fared much better than Destruction did while he was absent, this is yet another overlooked German thrash gem, with killer riffs and Jorg Michael.
HEADHUNTER - Rebirth [CD/1994] 8/10=Despite some of the goofy intro bits, this is every bit as strong as the first two records, rounding out a great trilogy of unique thrash records from Destruction frontman Schmier.
HEADHUNTER - Parasite of Society [CD/2008] 9/10=I didn't realize Schmier was resurrecting the Headhunter band...but it's more than welcome. Another great album picking up right where they left off! Superb.

HEARSE - Dominion Reptilian [CD/2003] 8/10=Great debut album of melodic death meets gothic rock'n'roll, w/Johan Liiva formerly of Arch Enemy.
HEARSE - Armageddon, Mon Amour [CD/2004] 8/10=This is a pretty badass album of melodic Swedish death metal with heavy rock and roll overtones. Johan Liiva's Arch Enemy roots come through here, and some Entombed. Great.
HEARSE - The Last Ordeal [CD/2005] 7/10=Hearse have a very melodeath'n'roll approach, though not as raw or bludgeoning as Entombed, they do have some more technical riffs. Good to see Johan Liiva doing some great work.
HEARSE - In These Veins [CD/2006] 8/10=Wasn't digging it at first, but now I'm hooked. It's quite good. Very aggressive death metal with some groove, definitely on par with Armageddon, Mon Amour. Love Johan's voice.

HELHEIM (NOR) - Jormundgand [DVD49/1995] 7/10=The debut album, raw black metal with some folk elements, it's pretty good material. These guys are not to be confused with the other Norse Helheim that released the Fenris EP.
HELHEIM (NOR) - Av Norron Aett [DVD49/1997] 7/10=Good early folk metal from Norway here on this 2nd full length, true Viking effort.
HELHEIM (NOR) - Terrorveldet [DVD49/1999] 5/5=I greatly enjoyed this experimental EP, merging industrial, folk, and progressive black metal. This is probably my favorite Helheim material actually.
HELHEIM (NOR) - Blod og Ild [DVD49/2000] 7/10=This was a curious album from the Norse band, sort of a moody, progressive black metal, I did enjoy it.
HELHEIM (NOR) - Yersinia Pestis [DVD25/2003] 7/10=Hail the sons of Wotan and the slayers of the Midgard Serpent! Wear the hide of Fenris and welcome your sons and daughters who ride in on...blah, hey it's good.
HELHEIM (NOR) - The Journey and Experiences of Death [CD/2006] 7/10=These guys have evolved quite a ways from their early sound, the material is stronger and well-structured, dynamic Viking black metal.
HELHEIM (NOR) - Kaoskult [CD/2008] 9/10=A triumph, easily the best album of their career so far, a glorious spectre of Norse avant-garde black metal, the depth of which is rarely attained.

HELLFUELED - Volume One [CD/2004] 10/10=Amazing debut album, Ozzy Osbourne clone vocals over amazingly crafted, upbeat, hi-energy stoner rock. The kind of album you wish Ozzy was making.
HELLFUELED - Memories in Black [CD/2007] 9/10=Amazing Swedish heavy rock/stoner metal hybrid with great vocals, reminds me of everything from Skid Row and Dokken to Alice in Chains and Hawkwind. Great songs, great album.

HELLHAMMER - Satanic Rites [CD/1983] 6/10=Just one of those bands...you either like them for their influential sound and straightforward thrash/doom metal, or you hate them because, frankly, your cat could write more complex music. I'm somewhat of the former persuasion.
HELLHAMMER - Apocalyptic Raids 1990 AD [CD/1984] 7/10=Aahh...a better, doomier sound here, that would be carried right into early Celtic Frost with T.G. Warrior. This is a pretty brief album, but a legend...although there was no Apocalypse in 1990.

HELLOWEEN - Helloween/Judas/Walls of Jericho [CD/1985-87] 9/10=I loved the raw, primal Helloween with Kai singing, maybe it's just me.
HELLOWEEN - Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I [CD/1987] 10/10=Then again, Kiske was also a great singer, and this, more polished Helloween is certainly no slouch, one of the greatest and formative power metal albums of all time.
HELLOWEEN - Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II [CD/1988] 9/10=Not as good as the first part, but still excellent, just too much goofy going on.
HELLOWEEN - The Best, the Rest, the Rare [CD/1991] 2/10=It only gets the two points for having songs not on any previous albums, otherwise worthless corporate cash cow.
HELLOWEEN - Pink Bubbles Go Ape [CD/1991] 4/10=Not as bad as many would have had you believe, but certainly not good by any means.
HELLOWEEN - Kids of the Century [CD/1991] 1/10=It's a single from Pink Bubbles Go Ape...what else should I say?
HELLOWEEN - Chameleon [CD/1993] 5/10=There is a lot of crap on this album, but it's competent, and it does have 'Giants' which is an amazing song.
HELLOWEEN - When the Sinner [CD/1993] 1/10=A single from Chameleon.
HELLOWEEN - Master of the Rings [CD/1994] 9/10=Helloween is back, and nearly perfect, the new singer Andi Deris fit in very well.
HELLOWEEN - Time of the Oath [CD/1996] 8/10=Not as catchy as Master of the Rings, but still a very excellent album indeed.
HELLOWEEN - Forever & One (Neverland) [CD/1996] 2/10=A single from Time of the Oath.
HELLOWEEN - Better Than Raw [CD/1998] 7/10=Some standout tracks, and some filler, not their best and not their worst.
HELLOWEEN - Hey Lord [CD/1998] 0/10=I give it a zero because of the name of the song, even if it's not that bad, a single from Better Than Raw.
HELLOWEEN - Metal Jukebox [CD/1999] 6/10=Helloween doing the obligatory cover song album, fortunately they have an interesting selection of tracks and manage to make them all in that Helloween spirit, so it's a decent cover album.
HELLOWEEN - The Dark Ride [CD/2000] 8/10=I really enjoyed this darker Helloween album, some real catchy tunes, 'If I Could Fly' is one of the catchiest rock songs in history.
HELLOWEEN - If I Could Fly [CD/2000] 1/10=One non-album track means one point.
HELLOWEEN - Rabbit Don't Come Easy [CD/2003] 5/10=Don't know why they went with another lame album title, this one is certainly competent but redundant to songs they've performed in the past, and not quite memorable.
HELLOWEEN - Just a Little Sign [CD/2003] 0/10=Worthless single from Rabbit Don't Come Easy.
HELLOWEEN - Mrs. God [CD/2005] 3/10=A new Helloween EP, not sure how I feel about it, I wish they would just stop fooling around, though there is almost a cool influence from 'The Who' on this stuff.
HELLOWEEN - Keeper of the Seven Keys: The Legacy [CDx2/2005] 9/10=Wow, they pretty much capitalized on all the very best elements of Master of the Rings, Time of the Oath and The Dark Ride, and over two discs. The only song I don't care for is 'Mrs. God'.
HELLOWEEN - Hellowee/Walls of Jericho [CD/2006] 9/10=The remaster of the original compilation of their debut EP and debut album, now comes with a bonus disc, sounds a bit better on modern speakers, otherwise identical.
HELLOWEEN - Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I [CD/2006] 10/10=Another re-issue, this remains just as perfect as the original album and of course now you get bonus tracks which are also good...
HELLOWEEN - Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II [CD/2006] 9/10=The remasters continue, this update to Keeper II has a disc with 3 b-sides and 2 remixed tracks.
HELLOWEEN - Pink Bubbles Go Ape [CD/2006] 5/10=Remaster of their worst album, sounds a lot better actually but the songs are still pretty lame, of course now you get some crappy bonus material. "Shit and Lobster"? Okay.
HELLOWEEN - Chameleon [CDx2/2006] 6/10=The disc of bonus content and remastering adds a little to what was otherwise a mediocre Helloween record, except, of course, for 'Giants'.
HELLOWEEN - Master of the Rings [CDx2/2006] 9/10=A remaster of the bands excellent comeback record from 1994, looks like they are remastering just about everything.
HELLOWEEN - Time of the Oath [CDx2/2006] 8/10=I didn't originally have the two-disc edition of this, so it's nice to have the bonus material at long last. I don't think the remix sounds much better here.
HELLOWEEN - Better Than Raw [CD/2006] 7/10=This was a pretty recent album, I'm not sure why it is being remastered...not sure at all.
HELLOWEEN - Light the Universe [CD/2006] 1/10=A worthless single, you get the duet tune from the record, a live version of "If I Could Fly", and a track previously unavailable in Europe (only reason to get this), plus video.
HELLOWEEN - The Legacy World Tour: Live in Sao Paulo [DVD6/2007] 4/10=A live album, two discs, but fuck it if I care, I've seen Helloween live and you should do the same if the opportunity ever presents itself.
HELLOWEEN - Gambling With the Devil [CD/2007] 9/10=These guys are really, really on a roll...the last double-album was superb and this is fucking incredible, probably their heaviest album since Walls of Jericho.

HERETIC (US) - Torture Knows No Boundary [CD/1986] 6/10=This was an EP with the old singer, with a much wilder voice...it was still pretty good but it was no Breaking Point.
HERETIC (US) - Breaking Point [CD/1988] 8/10=I love the production, I love the music, it's a bit dated sure but this was better than anything Mike Howe did with Metal Church later.

HEXENHAUS - A Tribute to Insanity [CD/1988] 8/10=My favorite Hexenhaus record, great riffs, burning solos, and Morbid Angel stole the cover art. 'Eaten Alive' is a classic. One of the few classic 'thrash' bands.
HEXENHAUS - The Edge of Eternity [CD/1990] 7/10=Another pretty good record, you gotta get used to a few of the high pitched vocals, but there are a lot of solid songs and hammering thrash riffs.
HEXENHAUS - Awakening [CD/1991] 7/10=A good Swedish thrash/speed metal band from the late 80s early 90s, with high pitched vocals ala Fates Warning, at least on this album. Not perfect, but this was certainly an underrated band.
HEXENHAUS - Dejavoodoo [CD/1997] 8/10=Retarded album title, but excellent fucking record. This Swedish band went out with a bang. Unique speed/thrash, not unlike Mercyful Fate due to Mike Wead's presence.

HEXX - No Escape [CD/1984] 7/10=A great classic heavy/speed metal record here, from a band that should certainly have gained more attention than they did.
HEXX - Under the Spell [CD/1986] 8/10=Oh the nostalgia...this is driving classic heavy metal here...'Hell Riders' is one of my fave metal songs ever.
HEXX - Quest for Sanity [CD/1988] 5/10=The style shift has arrived, and Hexx is essentially a Bay Area thrash band on this EP, not to say it isn't still quite good, but I miss their previous style.
HEXX - Watery Graves [CD/1990]
HEXX - Morbid Reality [CD/1991] 6/10=It's a good record in their thrash style, they even have some death lyrics on here so it's very different than their early work, and that is what I preferred.

HOLLENTHON - Domus Mundi [CD/1999] 9/10=The band's a better Therion, what more can I say? It's a Pungent Stench member easily surpassing himself, great ethnic instrumentation and some good metal.
HOLLENTHON - With Vilest of Worms to Dwell [CD/2001] 10/10=This is an utterly fantastic album from start to finish, more metal riffs than its predecessor but still the wonderful compositions and instrumentation.
HOLLENTHON - Opus Magnum [CD/2008] 9/10=Took some time to grow on me, it's not as good as With Vilest of Worms to Dwell, sounds even closer to Therion than they have before, but it's still amazing.

HOOVERPHONIC - A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular [CD/1996] 10/10=An amazing Belgian pop record, with great female vocals, there may be a filler track or two but the rest are so good it warrants a perfect score.
HOOVERPHONIC - Blue Wonder Power Milk [CD/1998] 9/10=May seem disappointing at first, but go and listen a few more times and you will once again be addicted to this Belgian band's very smooth, very European sound. More male vox here.
HOOVERPHONIC - The Magnificent Tree [CD/2000] 8/10=Coming off two spectacular CDs, this struck me at first as a disappointment, although as the first track suggests in its samples...repeated listens reap repeated rewards.
HOOVERPHONIC - Presents Jackie Cane [CD/2003] 8/10=Again, this is not as strong as the first two albums, but that would be a tall order for anyone and this has more than its share of crisp, creamy Belgian pop filling.
HOOVERPHONIC - Sit Down and Listen to: The Live Theater [CD/2003] 8/10=Pretty cool, more relaxing chillout versions of some of their better known songs. An interesting album and Hooverphonic fans will love it.

HORN - Wanderszeit [DVD92/2003] 3/5=First demo from this sick German fuck spewing black metal.
HORN - Jahreszeiten [DVD101/2005] 8/10=The first full-length from this German tribute to nature black metal artist. One man band. Definitely an impressive start. Glorious is the word.
HORN - Die Kraft der Szenarien [DVD101/2006] 8/10=Sophomore album every bit as raw and mighty as the first!
HORN - Naturkraft [DVD121/2008] 9/10=Another highly impressive album, his best yet, this guy just keeps improving. Minimal pagan black metal glory.

HORNA - Haudankylmydden Maille [CD/1999] 9/10=Brilliant black metal, one of my favorite Finnish bands...this stuff leaps out at you from the cold moors of Lappland, glorious and evil, it couldn't be more straightforward...
HORNA/FOG - Whispered Myths [CD/1999] 4/10=Only one track from each band, but it's a nice split and both songs are quite good.
HORNA - Sota [CD/1999] 5/10=A three-track EP from the Finnish masters, love the material here, good time while it lasts.
HORNA - Ordo Regium Sathanas [CD/2000] 6/10=Great material on this EP, it also appears at the end of the double-album directly below this.
HORNA - Hiidentorni/Kohti Yhdeksan Nousua/Perima Vihassa Ja Verikostossa/Ordo Regnum Sathanas [CDx2/2000] 8/10=This is a great package, you get four of their hard to find albums in one place, excellent cult Finnish black metal.
HORNA - Sudentaival [CD/2001] 9/10=I love this fucking band...some of the best cult black metal I've ever heard, sung in their native Finnish. Alongside Barathrum they are probably my favorite Finn black.
HORNA - Korpin Hekti [CD/2002] 6/10=Totally grim and excellent EP, only 3 songs, one of which is an Impaled Nazarene cover. Horna rules.
HORNA - Risti Ja Ruoska [CD/2002]
HORNA/MUSTA SURMA - Split [CD/2002] 4/10=Three songs from Musta Surma and 2 from Horna, decent split but not much material.
HORNA - Viha ja viikate [CD/2003] 6/10=Hail Satan! And Hail Horna! Each Horna song on this EP is worth 1.5 points, for a total of 6.
HORNA - Vuohipaimen [CD/2004]
HORNA - Talismaani [CD/2004] 5/10=Couldn't give it a 4.5 so I just gave it a 5 for 3 Horna songs.
HORNA - Black Metal Warfare [CD/2004] 2/10=I love Horna, but this live album sounds like complete butt.
HORNA/WOODS OF INFINITY - Split [CD/2004] 3/10=Another of these splits w/one song from each band, the Horna tune is pretty cool and creepy, the WOI tune is pretty creepy and lo-fi, and not sure I liked that one really.
HORNA/BEHEXEN - Split [CD/2004] 6/10=This is one prolific band, releasing multiple splits and EPs each year in addition to their full-length albums. Four raw and live Horna tracks on this one, one from Behexen, usual quality.
HORNA/BLACKDEATH - Split [CD/2005] 2/10=One song each, and I'm pretty sure the Horna song is previously released.
HORNA/KERBEROS - Goatfucking Gent/Vivicomburium [CD/2005] 4/10=This is a live Split, I can dig the Horna tracks but Kerberos annoys me somewhat with the monotonous drum machine blasting.
HORNA - Envaatnags Eflos Solf Esgantaavne [CD/2005] 7/10=Seems slightly more melodic than their previous outings, but still a really good Horna record, this is a band that always conjures up an appropriate atmosphere.
HORNA/TENEBRAE IN PERPETUUM - Split [CD/2005] 4/10=One song from each band, the Horna track kills and I also enjoyed Tenebrae in Perpetuum, an Italian band with a comparable style. Unfortunately this is just a 2 track 7" for moolah.
HORNA - Aania Yossa [CD/2006] 8/10=This is far more grim throughout it's four tracks than that last Horna album was, and this is also better. You can generally expect quality primal blackness from Horna.
HORNA/SACRIFICIA MORTUORUM - Split [DVD21/2007] 3/5=Horna are brilliant as usual with their two songs, Sacrificia Mortuorum from France I could live without.
HORNA - Sotahuuto [CD/2007] 10/10=Brilliant, evil fucking masterpiece from one of the greatest Finnish black metal bands.
HORNA - Pimeyden Hehku [CD/2007] 5/5=What a year for Horna...not only releasing one of the best black metal records of 2007 but also this totally killer, vile EP...what the fuck. I didn't know they had it in them!

HORNED ALMIGHTY - In the Year of Our Horned Lord [DVD54/2004] 5/5=Amazing, raw, grim debut EP from these Danes. Fucking murderous and sick.
HORNED ALMIGHTY - Black Metal Jesus [DVD79/2004] 8/10=By far one of my favorite black metal bands from Denmark, if not my favorite from that country.
HORNED ALMIGHTY - The Devil's Music [DVD79/2006] 9/10=Incredible, even better than Black Metal Jesus, a simple but exciting, unquestionably vile black metal effort from these Danes. Killer.

HYPNOS - In Blood We Trust [CD/2000] 9/10=Incredible debut from an excellent Czech death metal band, brutal but very musical and all the songs are catchy, even the fucking samples and intros are catchy.
HYPNOS - The Revenge Ride [CD/2001] 9/10=If there were a Czech version of Deicide that was 100x better than Deicide, I believe Hypnos would qualify.
HYPNOS - Rabble Manifesto [CD/2005] 8/10=It's actually my least favorite of the three, but still has great songs and that same crushing sound.

HYPOCRISY - Penetralia [CD/1992] 6/10=Overall the album is inferior to its excellent cover art, this is European death metal that isn't quite at the level of its peers, nor of albums 4-5 years prior than this, but still good.
HYPOCRISY - Obsculum Obscenum/Inferior Devotees/Pleasure of Molestation [CD/1993] 5/10=Scratch one guitar player and they actually start to develop that Hypocrisy sound, the includion of the two mCDs is a nice touch but I hate the vocals here and 'Exclamation of a Necrofag' is just retarded.
HYPOCRISY - The Fourth Dimension [CD/1994] 6/10=Down to three members now and Hypocrisy have found their distinct sound, slow to mid-paced death metal with sci-fi/conspiracy themes in addition to the typical death metal fare.
HYPOCRISY - Abducted [CD/1996] 8/10=One of their finest albums, both slow and fast death metal with doom-laden melodies, several memorable tracks here like 'Roswell 47' and 'When the Candle Fades', some filler though.
HYPOCRISY - The Final Chapter [CD/1997] 8/10=Another album of high quality melodic death/doom metal, it never hurts to have a cover of Razor's 'Evil Invaders' either, another of their best, maybe the best overall.
HYPOCRISY - Destroys Wacken [CD/1999] 4/10=A decent enough live album, with some studio tracks tacked on at the end, but some of those would appear on other releases later, the cover is Overkill's 'Fuck You' isn't bad.
HYPOCRISY - Hypocrisy [CD/1999] 6/10=Starts off amazing...then proceeds to get more boring and redundant through the rest of the album. A damn shame, if they had persisted with the style on the first track it would have rocked.
HYPOCRISY - Into the Abyss [CD/2000] 5/10="Well guys, we could have been something, but instead let's just go back to pay tribute to our first two albums!" This album is boring and unnecessary, with a few saving moments.
HYPOCRISY - 10 Years of Chaos and Confusion [CDx2/2001] 4/10=The inevitable 'fan package', in other words, Nuclear Blast prompting Hypocrisy to stick some Swedish sausage up their fans' asses, and they're all it will appeal to.
HYPOCRISY - Catch 22 [CD/2002] 5/10=Some bands constantly progress throughout their careers, but Hypocrisy sort of just jumps around from style to style, lacking any true identity. Their latest facelift is nu-metal injected death.
HYPOCRISY - The Arrival [CD/2004] 6/10="Gee, those last two albums didn't work out for us, sorry guys, we can make another Abducted or Final Chapter now, okay?" Sadly, I have to admit this album has some great moments.
HYPOCRISY - Virus [CD/2005] 8/10=Alright, it seems this band finally came to their senses and put together a half-decent record with a lot of great riffs and energy. It was about fucking time.
HYPOCRISY - Catch 22 V.2.08 [CD/2008]
