2. Make a commitment to yourself to learn the language.

10. Listen to and support Hawaiian music, a painless way to learn the language.

    • Listen to Hawaiian music CDs and READ the liner notes. Learn the words.
    • Listen to Hawaiian radio stations (KCCN, KINE, KPOA, Aloha Joe's Hawaiian Adventure Radio, Hawaiian Jamz) . Check my Favorite Links page for hotlinks.
    • Sing proudly and with confidence.
    • Learn the words to Hawai`i Pono`i for the next graduation.
    • Learn the words to Hawai`i Aloha for the next Hawaiian music concert or Hôkû Awards.
    • Learn the words to Aloha `Oe for the next farewell party.

11. Consider enrolling in a class, if one is available in your area.

12. Begin to "Think Hawaiian." Begin living Hawaiian values. Live Aloha.

13. Love your Hawaiian cultural heritage enough to give back to it.
