The Voice of an Angel

An angel's voice sang a searing message
into the heart of a hânai Angelena,
sending yet another kanaka soul
on an incandescent journey,
back to the warm embrace
of the motherland,
Hawai`i Aloha.

Angel.
Originally from the Greek word angelos, meaning messenger. Figuratively, a messenger of the Divine; a guardian or attendant spirit, a herald; an unexplained invisible phenomenon that causes a sound.
