The first Sydney Chat Meet is over,
And everyone had a fine time;
It was obvious to those who were present,
That we all think chatting's sublime.

Sioux Two was there in her glory,
With son Shane along for the ride;
She picked the site in the park,
'Twas much better there than inside.

Jaguarman flew up from Melbourne,
A long way for someone to come;
And he brought his digital Camera,
But he took my picture, the bum.

Benelong came, well chaperoned,
He brought along Lyn, his wife;
It's not that she doesn't trust him,
But she sees that he keeps out of strife.

Leg end or The Ghost Who Walks,
Drove herself up from the south;
With a jazzy hat on her head,
And a cheeky grin on her mouth

Five foot four arrived too,
That was a little surprise;
I didn't know she was coming,
But seeing her was very nice.

Bellbird, (Snuggles to some)
Arrived with a smile and a wave;
Few of us knew who she was,
So we weren't quite sure how to behave.

But Old n Bold, the old geezer,
Was there to keep all in line;
But he had no need at all to worry,
The day turned out to be fine.

So chatting does have some benefits,
Our own inner-selves we extend;
To share all our joys and our sorrows,
When we talk to a very dear friend.
