Ma Ma

You taught me my first song

You assured me when I felt alone

You tucked me in every night

You kissed me and turned out the lights

You taught me my first words

Please and thankyou ,were preferred

My first shoes you bronzed and kept

You taught me to take my first step

You took pictures of me each year

You taught me to be free from fear

You taught me how to use a spoon and knife

I thank you MaMa you gave me life

You taught me to share with others

Im talking about you mother

You taught me manners and to be polite

You taught me not to quarrel and fight

You taught me to never doubt

You taught me to let my feelings out

You got me through the chicken pox's

You taught me to put my toys in a box

You taught me to pray and believe in God

You taught me respect, and to cherish friends

You were there through thick and thin

You taught me to go out on my own

I want to thank you Ma Ma I have grown

I have children to teach what u have taught

Thank you MaMa you were there alot

And have I told you I love you , And alot

Ma Ma now that I have grown

Thank you for the memories of our home
