We had much to discuss this evening since it was scheduled to be our last meeting before the big weekend.

Topics Discussed:

• The details have been pretty much set in place. The food has been picked out. The decorations are taken care of for now. The DJ, the last mailing, the gifts for everything we could think of - all done. We have discussed at great link what else we should be doing for those that haven't responded at all yet - or even worse - those who have verbally agreed to come but still haven't sent back money or a response on paper. We have tried to be fair to all and have decided to mail out one last letter only to those who have responded that they will or at least would like to attend. Those who haven't responded by now obviously don't really - really want to come.

• We have decided to have our Friday night Social Hour at The Rainbow (over by Mario's Pizza) on North Avenue. I hear it is much nicer than many of us may remember and is big enough to handle a large group - so come on out Friday Night anytime after 7 pm.

• It looks like we will have around 130 people attending the dinner at the Treadway Saturday night. That is a pretty decent number, but could still be improved upon right up until that Saturday morning. Feel free to give us a call if you want to attend.

• The picnic should also have over a 100 people before all is said and done. It is at the Hickories at the main pavilion near the playground. You can bring your own food or buy into the chicken barbeque that will be available at $10 per adult and $5 for each child. Jana (Boland) will be bringing a bunch of things that the kids can play with to keep them busy and happy.

• Golf on Saturday will start at 9:00 am at the Nichol's Golf Course (sorry don't know the name). We have about 20 interested golfers at the moment.

• I believe I also heard (just a rumor) that the DJ will have some sort of Karaoke thing going on Saturday night (maybe even Friday as well) - so we have that to look forward to..... American Idol - or just plain humorous?
