Day 01 : SAMARINDA-DATA DAWAI-TIONG OHANG
Leave at hotel, transfer by car to Temindung airport for flight by DAS
to Data Dawai airfield approximately 1 hour 20 minutes. Upon arrival by
walking to Long Lunuk viilage and catching the motorized canoes cruise
up Mahakam River. Early morning arrive at Tiong Ohang sub-district. Lunch
at local restaurant, dinner and overnight at local inn at Tiong Buu village.
Day 02 : TIONG OHANG-SIHAN RIVER
After breakfast, departure by motorized canoe, cruise up Sihan river to
see Dayak graves with over a hundred skulls and gongs some stills good

leisure. In the evening sightseeing of the village and observe the way

Day 05 : MUARA SEKE SURROUNDING
Today, hunting the wild animals in the tropical rain forest and you will
be accompanied by the dayak hunters. Meals will be provided and overnight
in tent.
Day 06 : MUARA SEKE-MAHAKAM RIVER-TIONG OHANG
Half day, you will go to the tropical rain forest again then your return
journey cruise down river to Tiong Ohang sub-district. Meals will be prepared
and overnight at local inn.
Day 07 : TIONG OHANG-LONG LUNUK
After breakfast, by motorized canoe cruise down Mahakam River to Long
Lunuk village Dayak Penihing tribe. Meals will be prepared and overnight

Day 08 : LONG LUNUK-SAMARINDA-BALIKPAPAN
Your return flight to Samarinda then transfer by your private car to Balikpapan.

start trekking up land dry rice field then tropical rain forest. Meals

Day 07 : TIONG OHANG-LONG BAGUN
After breakfast start trekking in the tropical rain forest and hunting

Day 08 : RAIN FOREST-MAHAKAM RIVER-TIONG OHANG
You return journey by walking to Mahakam River then by motorized canoe

Day 12 : TENGGARONG-SAMARINDA

Day 05 : TERING-MAHAKAM RIVER

After early breakfast, short sightseeing of the village at Muara Muntai,

of Jantur then cross-over Lake Jempang, one of three large shallow lakes

Day 07 : LEKAQ KIDAU-MAHAKAM RIVER-LOA JANAN-BALIKPAPAN
After breakfast on the house boat, short sightseeing of the village to
see long ears of the Dayak Kenyah tribe and watching dayak Kenyah dance
will be performed in the Dayak Community Center, then return to your house
boat onward downstream Mahakam River. After lunch arrive at Loa Janan
proceed directly transfer by car to Balikpapan, check in at hotel for
accommodation and dinner.
Day 08 HOTEL-SEPINGGAN AIRPORT

MAHAKAN WHITE WATER RAPIDS

Days 01 : BALIKPAPAN-LOAJANAN-MAHAKAN RIVER
Leave Balikpapan by your private car to Loajanan pier then Boarding on
house boat cruise up Mahakam river. Meals will be provided and overnight
on boat.
Days 02 : MUARA MUNTAI_MANCONG_MAHAMAM RIVER
After breakfast, departure by motorized canoe, cross over Jempang Lake,
to reach Mancong. Watching dayak Benuaq dance will be performed in front
of traditional longhouse, afterwards return to Muara Muntai onward upstream
Mahakam River. Lunch boxes will be served en route, dinner and overnight
on boat.
Days 03 : MELAK-KERSIK LUWAI-PEPAS EHENG-TERING
Departure by car for visiting Natural Black orchid forest at Kersi Luwai
and traditional longhouse Pepas Eheng, dayak coffin. Afterwards return
to Melak onward cruise up Mahakam river. Meals will be provided and overnight
on the house boat.
Day 04 : TERING-LONG BAGUN
After breakfast, departure by longboat cruise up Mahakam river to Long
Bagun. Overnight stay at local inn Polewali.
Day 05 : LONG BAGUN-LONG TUYOQ
Departure by longboat you will experience the thirteen white water rapids
with seven pretty major ones and a nice waterfall Kenehe. Please brace
yourself, when you passing on the white water rapids ( proceed on foot
due the white water rapids ). Afternoon you will reach LongTuyoq dayak
Bahau village, short sightseeing to see long ears with many tattoos on
theirs skin, afterwards your return journey to Long Bagun. Lunch will
be served en route , dinner and overnight at local in Polewali.
Day 06 : LONG BAGUN-TERING-MAHAKAN RIVER
Your return journey by longboat to Tering where your house boat is waiting,
watching dayak Bahau dance performance Hudog Dance, afterwards return
to your house boat onward cruise down Mahakam river. Meals will be provided
and overnight on the house boat.
Days 07 : MAHAKAN RIVER-LOAJNAN-BALIKPAPAN
Early evening arrive at Loajanan pier directly transfer by car to Balikpapan.

Day 01. BALIKPAPAN - LOAJANAN - MAHAKAM RIVER
Upon arrival at sepinggan airport Balikpapan meeting services and proceed
directly transfer by car to Loajanan pier, approximately two hours drive
away, then boarding on house boat with private cabin and full air conditioning
onward cruise up Mahakam River. Meals will be provided and overnight on
the house boat.
Day 02. LEKAQ KIDAU - MAHAKAM RIVER - BALIKPAPAN
After breakfast, short sightseeing of the Dayak Kenyah village, to see
long ears with many tattoos on theirs skin, who still keep by the old
man and women, watching Dayak Kenyah dances performance in the community
center. Afterwards return to house boat cruise down Mahakam River. On
the way back a few stop will be made to see daily activities of Kutai
people at Sebulu there is boat making place and Kampung Kajang roofs made
with material of palm leaves.
Visiting the Museum Mulawarman. Formerly Royal Palace of Kutai Kingdom
during the Sultan rule the Dayak tribe presented gifts on display includes
hand carved detailed canoe huge dragon, gongs, elaborate beadwork and
beautifully dayak totem pole, then return to house boat to Loajanan, directly
transfer by car to Balikpapan check in at hotel for accommodation and
dinner.
Day 03. BALIKPAPAN - SEPINGGAN AIRPORT

Day 01 : Balikpapan - Loa Janan - Mahakam River

cruise up Mahakam River. Meals will be provided and overnight on boat.
Day 02 : Muara Muntai - Tanjung Isuy
After breakfast, shortsightseeing of the wooden village where even the
road are made of iron wood, departure by motorized canoe, passing fisherman
and cross over Jempang lake to Tanjung Isuy, Dayak Benuaq village.
In the evening watching Dayak Benuaq dances will be performed in front
of traditional long house. Meals will be provided and overnight in the
traditional long house.
Day 03 : Tanjung Isuy - Mancong - Mahakam River
After early breakfast, traveling by motorized canoe to see Replica Grand
Old Long House, with lucky perhaps on the way you can see king fisher,
proboscis monkey or long nose monkey, afterwards return to Muara Muntai
onward cruise up Mahakam River. Meals will be provided and overnight on
boat.
Day 04 : Melak- Kersik Luway - Pepas Eheng
Ater breakfast departure by car visiting Natural Black Orchid Forest at
Kersik Luway and traditional long house at Pepas Eheng and Dayak coffin
then return to Melak cruise up Mahakam River. Meals will be provided and
overnight on boat.
Day 05 : Tering - Mahakam River
After breakfast, sightseeing Dayak Bahau village and watching Dayak Hudoq
dance spectacle. It is special ceremony asking for rain and good harvest,
then onward cruise down Mahakam River. Meals will be provided and overnight
on boat.
Day 06 : Minta - Kota Bangun - Mahakam River
After breakfast, visiting Minta village to see daily activities of Kutai
Tribe who can make red sugar with material from palm tree, then cruise
down Mahakam River to Kota Bangun and you will enjoy sunset on the Semayang
lake.
Afterwards cruise down Mahakam River. Meals will be provided and overnight
on the house boat.
Day 07 : Lekaq Kidau - Tenggarong - Loa Janan - Balikpapan
After breakfast watching Dayak Kenyah Dances performance and you can see
Dayak Kenyah long ears group, return to house boat cruise down Mahakam
River. A stop will be made at Tenggarong for visiting Museum Mulawarman
and Royal Cemetery, return to your boat onward cruise down Mahakam River
to Loa Janan direct transfer by car to Balikpapan for accommodation and
dinner at hotel.
Day 08 : Balikpapan - Sepinggan Airport
After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to airport for flight
