Matthew 28:19 NKJVSupporting missions and missionaries at home and around the world is a practical way to obey Jesus' Great Commission: to go into all the world and make disciples. Oak Grove gives very generously from the regular budget offering to support the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention. We are also liberal in our special offerings taken for Foreign Missions, Home Missions and State Missions.
But equally important is our commitment to educate people about missions and missionary work in the States and around the globe. Our missions groups are age graded and fulfill the purpose of educating persons about God's missionary work in the world.
There are mission groups for all ages:- Baptist Men (Adult Men)
- Women On Missions (Adult Men)
- Acteens (Teenage girls)
- Challengers (Teenage boys)
- Girls in Action (Girls grades 1-6)
- Lads and Crusaders (Boys grades 1-6)
- Mission Friends (Children ages 3-5)
