Monroe Louisiana Folklife Festival 2001

D. L. Menard with Terry Huval playing it "right here, right now," the festival theme. This primarily local festival featuring some of Louisiana's best happens the 2nd weekend in September. Yeah you right!

D. L. gave a leg up to this young man on accordion, Brandon Miller along with Terry Huval of Jambalaya on fiddle. Brandon sang beautifully, at age 21 watch for him coming up.

Watch out, local bad boy Jason Burns returns to town, playing bass with C. C. Adcock's swamp-a-billy band. They really cooked with zydeco and rockabilly. Home towner & leader of his own band, Kenny Bill Stinson sat in.

Rosie & Morris Ledet put on a fine zydeco set. Really got the crowd up & moving!
