Extended Final Scene for Yo Adrian

Rated: PG-13/R (for sexual situations)

Since so many of my fellow A & Cers have asked, I thought it my civic duty to make a house arrest and lock Theo in his room as they’ve requested and continue Andy and Connie’s marriage conversation. Here is my take on how the final scene for “Yo Adrian” should have gone.

Beware of Gutter Diving Zone!!! I’ve gone to the deep end!

Sally, this one’s for you!

Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me
Is almost more than I can take
Baby when you touch me
I can feel how much you love me
And it just blows me away
I’ve never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts
I can see your dreams

I don’t know how you do what you do
I’m so in love with you,
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life,
With you by my side forever and ever.

Every little thing that you do
Baby, I’m amazed by you.

The smell of your skin
The taste of your kiss
The way you whisper in the dark
Your hair all around me
Baby, you surround me
You touch every place in my heart
Oh, it feels like the first time every time
I want spend the whole night in your eyes.

Every little thing that you do
I’m so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Oh, every little thing that you do
Baby, I’m amazed by you.

Andy got up off the couch and looked lovingly at Connie.

“I’ll be right back.” He told her as he kissed her on the forehead.

He took Theo by the hand and they went into Theo’s bedroom to read a bedtime story. He tucked him in and began to read. About 15 minutes later, Andy closed Theo’s door and walked out into the living room where he found Connie still up and waiting for him.

Mission accomplished. Perhaps now he and Connie could finally have some quiet time together.

He found Connie on the couch waiting for him.

“Now where were we?” He told her as he sat down beside her on the sofa and took her into his arms. She went willingly.

“I think there was a question you wanted to ask me???” she smiled at him.

“Yeah…isn’t it your turn to take out the garbage tonight?”

“Andy!!!” She went to tap him lightly on chest but Andy caught her hands and he proceeded to place a gentle kiss on her forehead. Then he worked his way down her face as he showered her with small, delicate kisses and pulled her close to him.

“I love you, Connie McDowell.”

He pulled back from her for just a moment and retrieved something from his shirt pocket. He pulled a small, square shaped box out of his pocket.

“I’ve been waiting all evening for the right moment to give this to you. Marry me, Connie. I don’t want to wait any longer. I want you to be my wife.”

Connie was stunned speechless. Finally she found her voice as she opened the box.

“Oh, Andy…it’s beautiful.” She told him in a soft voice filled with emotion. She was close to tears as she opened the box and it revealed a 14 K gold diamond ring.

“Yes….

“Oh yes…I will marry you.” And Andy slid the ring on her finger and kissed her hand as he put the ring on her finger. Connie let out a sob of happiness and wrapped her arms around him as she willingly went into his arms. He held her close and they stayed that way for quite some time.

Andy broke the silence and took her hands in his….

“C’mon…” and he led her to the bedroom.

He closed the door and kissed her. Connie wrapped her arms around him and then began to fumble with the buttons on his shirt as she ran her hands across his broad chest. She then returned his kiss with one of her own.

“I love you so much. We’re going to have such a happy life together.”

She then reached up and took her shirt off. Andy unclasped her bra as Connie quickly shed the rest of her clothes. They fell to a heap on the floor. She then wrapped her arms around him again and pulled him to her as she fell back against the pillows on the bed. She took his mouth and kissed him passionately. Their lips met in a fiery union.

Andy kissed her neck and proceeded to slowly work his way down her body giving every part of her his undivided attention. She cried out in ecstasy as his mouth traced a fiery path of kisses from her mouth to her stomach and all the places in between. Andy took his time. He wanted to remember every second of this night. He made every moment count.

God, he loved her. Her love had opened up his world again. Doors that had seemed closed now were open. With love, anything was possible.

As they spiraled into that wonderful oblivion together, the world seemed to fade away. The only thing that mattered was here and now and that they make the journey together.

They had weathered this storm that had threatened to tear their family apart and now together they would be building a life together full of hope…full of dreams…full of love.

His friend, Diane Russell, had been right. Andy Sipowicz was a lucky man.
