Cat List - Page 34

Below is our complete cat list, both available and unavailable. AVAILABLE Cats are marked with an "ADOPTME!" flag next to their name. We list both cats who are successfully placed as well as those still seeking homes as part of our life-long commitment to each animal.

Francis NYC340

Francis is a charming Sealpoint Siamese boy snuggle who loves to le in your arms! This handsome lad was found with a broken pelvis and two broken legs after a tumble off a terrace. He healed so well that you would never know he'd been injured, and he loves to play with you as well as other cats!

Corkie NYC341

Corkie was found wandering the streets of Brooklyn, but this friendly fellow could not have been out for long! Corkie is a friendly fellow who is very affectionate with people and fearless, and a bit of a door-dasher. Happily, this tendency has mellowed during his time with us as he's figured out where all the good stuff is.

Anthony NYC342

Anthony is a sweet cuddlebug of a himalayan abandoned outside in Brooklyn by his former owner. This friendly fellow seems unperturbed by other cats or even dogs, as long as he gets to snuggle with you! Anthony's color falls somewhere between sealpoint and chocolatepoint at the moment, with a face that is unusually persian-like than your average himmy. He is quite the character, pestering you for attention, even nipping at your heels like a border collie. This clever boy obviously acquired some survival skills on the streets, so keep your trash secured! But, as long as his needs are met, he really just wants to curl up in your lap!

Misty NYC343

Misty is a very sweet and friendly snowshoe who was abandoned at the NYC pound as a "stray", but there's no way this girl would stray far from you! While this beautiful snowshoe Siamese is nervous in new situations, Misty adores getting attention from you, either sitting on your lap or playing with you with kitty lures, or simply being petted ! If you can't pay attention to her, she is content to hover near your to relax and watch for a pet or play opportunity!

Minx NYC344

Minx is a little charmer who is rather fearful around other cats; this poor baby was likely isolated as a tiny kitten and became ailurophobic. Despite her many tribulations, she clearly wants human attention if she can have it as your one and only!

Marshmallow Cream NYC345

Marshmallow Cream is a gorgeous Siamese mix with the classic silky fur and noble ears, but the chaotic coloring of a calico on a black background. This little girl is a work of art! Not only that, she is outstandingly affectionate and BRAVE! She was abandoned on the streets of Bedford Stuyvesant where she gave birth to a litter of kittens, to stalwartly fend off a pack of attacking dogs! Two of her kittens were killed, and Marshmallow Cream lost half her tail as she defended her remaining kits' escape. This beauty has a lasting dislike of canines, and would like a dog-free home.

Olivia NYC346

Olivia is a stunning wedgehead of a sealpoint Siamese who lost her home to a new human baby. This gorgeous girl was a bundle of nerves when she arrived, lashing out defensively at anyone who ventured near. We thought perhaps she was afraid of other cats, but she managed to get along with her feline room-mates better than tolerating human approaches. Luckily, with a bit of time and patience, this timid kitty grew to trust her foster parent and, by extension, other people. We shudder to think how she developed such a fear of human attention, but the good news is she adores it now! Olivia also has a musical yowl which is sure to grab your attention, although she uses it only in times of distress.

Wheatley NYC347

Wheatley is a very affectionate and outgoing flamepoint boy of a Siamese! This poor fellow was turned into the pound but was lucky enough to be adopted. Unfortunately, he came down with a cold so he was returned by the adopter for double-jeopardy! This friendly fellow is now all better and anxious to be adotped for his next adventure. Wheatley gets along well with both cats and dogs, so this intrepid explorer is up for anything!
