Socks NYC170

Hello! I'm Socks, a beautiful seal snowshoe girl who is incredibly cuddly and sweet in my own petite way. My one quirk is that I really want a dining companion; my dish just doesn't seem appetizing without a loved one nearby! I had a nasty cold coming from the pound, but I'm much better now, thank you!

Linda NYC171

Linda is a voluptuous blue snowshoe girl who is timid around other kitties, despite her intimidating size! This poor baby was seized by animal control after her owner died. She seems sad, but she still purrs when you hold or pet her! Unfortunately, this little girl's depression got the better of her and she faded away on us. We will miss this sweet girl with her amazing vocalizations and need for human attention.

Pipper NYC172

Hello! I'm adorable Pipper, who is a sweet blue-eyed white siamese mix! As soon as I get any human's attention, I just want to cuddle in their arms. My favorite thing to do is ride on your shoulder, and if you bend down, I'll hop on your back to get there! I lost my old home because the baby was allergic to me; can't I be your baby instead? You can see how cute I am!

Fancy NYC173

Fancy is a beautiful lynx snowshoe with a Gund-plush coat! This sweet and brave little girl was left at the pound when her former owner "had no place to keep her." Fancy is great with other cats.

Brandon NYC174

Brandon was found on the streets of the East Village by a nice lady who kept him safe while she contacted us! No one has responded to her found cat notices, so it's time to get this handsome guy a home. This barely-out-of-kittenhood 1 year old has strong Sealpoint Siamese markings with Burmese golden eyes. He adores attention and will knead the floor if he just catches you looking at him!

Mila NYC175

Hello, I'm Mila! I ran out of my old home when the other family cat (male) attacked me. There I was, stuck in a courtyard with no food and water, where my only shelter was a crevice between two buildings! My situation was pretty grim, but I managed to survive the whole summer, mainly because the next-door neighbors became my guardian angels, providing the basics. It wasn't easy for me to trust again, but my Angels used irresistable tuna, chopmeat, and roast chicken to lure me closer. Finally, I let them touch me, enjoying those head and chin scratches. I started following them around the yard, rubbing against their legs and rolling over on my back for attention! That's when my Angels contacted Siamese Rescue for help. They came and got me, and I turned out to be a big lovable seal boy! And I'm off to my new home!

Tommy NYC176

Greetings! I'm Tommy, a terrificly sweet and gentle soul! I look like an orange tabby, but I'm actually a Tonkinese mix, like my sister Epiphany. I came from an abusive household in East Harlem, but you would never know it with my sweet temperament. I simply charm everyone I meet with my friendly good looks. Great news: I'm off to my new and final home; please wish me luck!

Epiphany NYC177

How do you do? I'm Epiphany, a very sweet and cuddly Tonkinese girl who came from the same abusive household as Tommy the orange boy above. My mom was killed by a violent kick to her head! Despite this atrocity, I dearly love good-hearted folks and show it both by sharing my elegant looks and enthusiastically rubbing against your hand when you pet me. If you pick me up, I'll rub my crown against your chin and warm my nose on your neck! You're too late - I've gone to my wonderful new home in Astoria!

Gene NYC178

Hey, there! I'm Gene, a gentle, friendly flamepoint boy who was turned in to the pound by my ex-owner because he "had too many". Ya gotta wonder how that could happen! Anyway it's ok now, because I was horribly matted and dirty - housecleaning wasn't high on my ex's list, apparently! Don't fret - I'm much better-looking and feeling a whole lot finer, since my back was shaved and I got a nice warm bath. Well, ok, I wasn't THAT happy about the bath, but losing that black stuff is good with me. I'm a friendly fellow who is easy on feline room-mates, although I'd prefer a smaller number in my next digs!

Sara NYC179

This is Sara, an unusual-looking Snowshoe mix girl, who lost her last home when her owner was evicted. This incredibly sweet baby is immediately friendly to everyone, and grateful for a good meal and nice place to sleep! Sara is our likely-WTC September 11th kitty, as she arrived at the pound on September 13th as a animal control seizure, which is how the ground zero animals were categorized. Sara is another too-skinny baby who has undoubtably known deprivation. That's over for her now, and we hope to find her a wonderful home with reliable food service!
