Is College Needed?
I've been reading different articles in school on whether or not college is right from everyone. Every one of the articles that I read was from a parent's perspective. Well from a student's view, college is definately not right for everyone. Like my friend said, "there are some people that were just born to dig ditches." Likewise, some that college is right for, are not ready for college. I have seen many of my friends just not be ready for the commitment that college has you make. Nor are they mature enough. They are used to having someone to hold their hand every step of the way. When they get to college there is a sudden shock to their system. Some of these students cause a MAJOR distraction to other students and try to bring them down as well. Just like smoking and drugs in high school. In college, there are students that just want to be there to talk and meet people but have no worry about school. These are the type's of students that cause distractions and hurt the class as well.
