Gwen Stefani is the lead singer of the band. Her voice is so unique, it is unmistakable when you hear it.

Gwen was born in Orange County, California, on October 3, 1969. She grew up with her parents, sister Jill, and brothers Eric and Todd. Eric is the person responsible for introducing Gwen to the ska scene when he brought home records by Madness and The Selekter. Gwen majored in art, and says that her musical influences include Madness, Julie Andrews, and Fishbone's Angelo Moore.
