The North West Region is represented on the map in red and covers the counties of Cumbria, Lancashire, Cheshire and North Wales plus the Isle of Man. Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic have combined to form the 12th ACU&S region and are no longer associated with this region. The Regional Councill oversees Finance, Membership, Training and Examinations. Training courses for umpires and scorers are conducted by a number of Branches and Affiliated Associations throughout the autumn and winter months and examinations are usually held in the spring at various centres around the North West Region. There are currently nearly 1000 members in the region with a large number meeting throughout the winter months at locally held meetings organised by branches and affiliated associations . |
