The Regional Councill oversees Finance, Membership, Training and Examinations. Training courses for umpires and scorers are conducted by a number of Branches and Affiliated Associations throughout the autumn and winter months and examinations are usually held in the spring at various centres around the North West Region. There are currently nearly 1000 members in the region with a large number meeting throughout the winter months at locally held meetings organised by branches and affiliated associations .
