Conference has become a "must" for many Lay Preachers in the Synod. The
subjects considered, usually suggested by the Lay Preachers, are many
and various. Last year we looked at the Psalms. We looked at how they
could most creatively be used in worship. We also stood back and
considered the perspectives of the Book, and its basis. Always there is the satisfying experience of meeting colleagues informally and comparing notes. This year, we are looking at the Book of Revelation, and we will be led by John Proctor, from Westminster College, aided and abetted by Lawrence. |
