- (OPINION) I was so excited to finally be able to watch an animated series of the Toshinden game. The hit 3-D fighting game was a big success in Japan. Finally making it into an anime. I was glad at first...but when I got a copy of this anime I was dissapointed at the animation and the plot...the english voices was okay but being a Toshinden fan I wasn't so excited at the series when I finished it...sad to say I hated it. Yes my favorite characters was in it like Tracy and Kayin but the story was boring...if the original creator was to direct it I bet it would have been a big success...instead of the Fatal Fury artist...whatever his name was...you see if Kotobuki was to draw them out the series would have looks like Saber Marionnette J. Kotobuki said he based the characters in Saber Marionnette J on his favorite characters in Toshinden. Like Hanagata is Kayin and Lime is Tracy, Cherry is Ellis and Bloodberry as Sofia. But it will not happen. So the series got a low score in my chart...sad. I was sad to not be able to see my favorite character Cupido...

- MUSIC; The music was excellent only for the ending credits. Sung in Japanese by Kyoko Hikami and she is also the voice of Ellis in the Japanese version.

PS: The japanese version of the series was never released in the US but I got it in both Cantonese and Japanese!!
