Formerly known as Imperial Airways and Excite Airlines, Northwestern Airlines has many years of design and ideas behind it.

When I design my airlines I just can’t stick with one paintjob usually! I get bored so I paint many different schemes on my aircraft! Very similar to when WESTERN PACIFIC would repaint some of their aircraft with advertisements.

 

The Northwestern Airlines livery was formed in September 2006 after many years of designs by the overall coordinator, me, Gary R. Tinnes. After flying through many designs and airline names I finally ended up with an airline livery that looks very similar to the old NWA paint scheme from the 80’s. Being a fan of retro paintjobs and realizing that all liveries can look somewhat like, I decided to revive the old look of commercial aviation during times when it was much more pleasing to fly.
