Periodic table
Theses six noble gases are found in group 18 of the periodic table. These elements were considered to be inert gases until the 1960's, because their oxidation number of 0 prevents the noble gases from forming compunds readily. All of these gases have the greatest number of electrons possible in their outer energy lever, (2 for Helium, 8 for the rest) making them stable and for the most part, unreactive.  For more information about each individual noble gas, click on the links below.
Summary
March 1, 2004: The funniest thing in the world, I swear.  If I remember correctly, this website was an eighth grade science project on the Noble Gases.  So years later, I'm going through the guestbook and I can't beleive how many people actually visit this site and sign the guestbook.  Wow.  All of us are in high school so it's been ages, but I just thought it was kinda cute how some people thought we did this site in our spare time.  Tehe.  How funny!  Yup.  Enjoy the site!
