When I was young sometimes  me and my momma had beef, when I was 18 left the house to live my life in the  streets. Nowadays I hardly ever see  her face, there aint a woman alive that can take my mommas place. Been suspended  from school, scared to go home. I was a fool with the big dogs breakin all the  rules. Even though we had drama when things went wrong I never blamed  momma.

I finally understand it  aint easy for a woman to raise a man. There's no way I can pay ya back but the plan is to show ya that I  understand, You are appreciated.

Aint no body tell us it  was fair no love my dad cause the cowboy wasn?t there if he passed away I  wouldn't cry cause my anger couldn't let me feel for a stranger, they say I am  wrong and hartless, but all the times I was looking for my father he was  gone.

Then a real man stepped up  to the plate, and for that man I got no hate.

When I was low you was  there for me, never left me alone cause you cared for me, I can still see ya  coming home after work late in the kitchen trying to fix us a hot plate. There's no way I can pay ya back but the  plan is to show you are appreciated, Dear Momma, I pour out a little liquor and  reminisce cause through the drama I know I can always depend on my momma and  when it seems life is hopeless I just think of you and it brings me back to  focus. When I was sick as a little kid, there was no limit to the things ya  did.

All my childhood memories  are full of all the sweet things ya did for me, even though I act crazy I gotta  thank the lord that ya made me.  There are no words that can express how I feel. Never kept a secret  always stayed real, I appreciate how ya raised me, and all the extra love that  ya gave me. Every thing will be  alright if we hold on it's a struggle every day got to roll  on,
