Family Court Mediation Training

This course complies with the content
required for those mediators who wish to mediate family disputes involving
divorce, property settlements, and/or child custody cases. Students will
practice family mediation through role-playing exercises. The Texas Family Code,
Current Edition is used as a text. The course will include:
Family Dynamics
- Child Development
- Resources Available to Families
- Custody Issues
- Property Settlement Agreements
- The Court's Perspective
Prerequisite: You must have taken the 40 Hour Basic Mediation
Training prior to attending the Family Court Mediation Training.
