| I started my first day in school in a rural school in 1980, where my mother was teaching. I have been to various types of school since then. I can remember the school I did my grade 4, our class was under a tree. Actually it was lot of fun when the class teacher was not there. Then I entered Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa, Sri Lanka in 1986 to continue the rest of my school education till 1993. After completing A/L, I entered University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 1995, to start my heigher education, by doing a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. After finishing my first degree I started my post-graduate work at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of London, UK in 2001, by starting a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. |
