Mary Mitchell -- Sun Girl

Name: Mary Mitchell

Alias: Sun Girl

First appearance: Sun Girl #1-3

Occupation: Secretary for Jim Hammond (aka the Human Torch 1) and national superheroine celebrity.

Powers: None, aside from being a WAC, an acrobat, and proficient in judo and jiu jitsu. She also used a 'Sun Beam Ray' agaisnt her enemies. There was some slight evidence she may have had super-speed of some kind, but she might have just been sprinting really, really fast.

Friends: Jim Hammond, whom she worked beside as a sidekick until Toro returned and replaced her. Sun Girl was also very popular with the American people; she was well loved by many. She was also friendly with Namora.

Where can she be seen?: She had her own Golden Age comic, and appeared in various other titles of the time period, but I haven't heard much about her lately :(
