A brief preview video flys through the card for this Sunday's latest ACW show, 'Dedication'. Showing footage from 'Pilot', ACW's opening show, we see clips of the likes of John Cena, Larry Sweeney, Christian Cage and others. However, one particular man is notably absent from the video package. One man who will make his ACW debut this Sunday at the age of fifty eight.

As the preview video fades out we open to a scene backstage in Madison Square Gardens, the home for 'Dedication'. The camera focuses on a simple back entrance to the arena, just a basic fire exit door surrounded by production equipment and the usual gear involved in putting out a live wrestling broadcast. However, waiting by the doorway is a familiar face. It's none other than the founding Four Horseman member Arn Anderson. Anderson, dressed in a casual t-shirt and jeans, appears to be anxiously waiting as he glances at his watch and stares at the door in front of him.

We don't have to wait long to see who Arn is waiting for as the fire door exit burst open and the Nature Boy Ric Flair strolls in. This isn't quite the glitz and the glamour we've come to associate with Flair; strolling in through a back door with no grand entrance. Flair is without an entourage of girls around his arms and he's missing the gold we're so used to seeing hang over his shoulder. None the less, this is the Nature Boy and he still carries himself with a bit of style, wearing a finely cut dark suit with trademark sunglasses poking out of his pocket. Flair smoothly moves over to Arn and the pair embrace briefly, slapping each other on the backs. The pair then pull apart and the two happily greet each other.

Arn Anderson:  ' You're not looking bad for fifty eight, Ric. '

Ric Flair:  ' And I don't feel bad for fifty eight either. '

Flair smirks and glances down at himself admiring his own smart appearance. He and Arn then slowly begin to move away from the back entrance as they commonly chat with each other. The pair soon round a corner and almost walk straight into ACW announcer Todd Grisham. Grisham apologies profusely and pleads for an interview, motioning Flair and Anderson slightly further on to where a backdrop and monitor are set up for promos. With all three men in position Grisham begins his interview.

Todd Grisham:  ' I'm standing here with the former sixteen time Worlds champion and latest addition to the ACW roster, the legendary Ric Flair. Mr. Flair, how does it feel to be here in Madison Square Gardens for your ACW debut? '

Ric Flair:  ' I'll be honest with you Todd, I've never felt quite at home up here in New York city. At this time of year it's just too cold for the Nature Boy. I'm more comfortable in my own backyard, down in the Carolinas. But, I feel like I might just brave the cold weather and I might just forget about home for a little while. See, it seems like ACW is the place to be and if it's happening in ACW then you can sure as hell expect the Nature Boy is going to be around... Woo! You know I can't stay out of the spotlight for too long, it's been shining on me all these years that it only feels natural. No matter how hard I try I just keep coming  back for more. I can't just stand back and deprive the wrestling business of Ric Flair, let's face it, what would you do without me... Woo! '

Flair seems in a more flamboyant mood than his low-key entrance would have suggested as Grisham continues with his questioning.

Todd Grisham:  ' Some people would like to know if you're serious about competing here in ACW, what do you say to people who think you've not got anything left to offer in the ring? '

Ric Flair:  ' I've heard it all before. In 1992 they said I'd never win the WWF Title in the Royal Rumble, but I proved them wrong. In 1994 they said I could never return to WCW and pin Big Van Vader for the WCW Title, but I proved them wrong. In 1999 they said I could never beat Hulkamania and win another WCW  Title, but yet again I proved them wrong. Year after year I've been written off, but year after year the Nature Boy keeps on defying his critics... Woo! For the past fifteen years I seem to have been too old to get the job done. Funny then how over the past fifteen years I've won more World titles than most wrestlers could ever dream of winning... Woo! Age can be damn misleading, you really don't want to make the mistake of judging Ric Flair by a couple of meaningless numbers.  I've got the same passion for this business that I had when I was twenty five years old... that's what really matters. '

Flair pauses briefly to collect his thoughts and stares straight down the camera before continuing.

Ric Flair:  ' I know that I've learnt this business inside and out... I know it better than the palm of my own hand. You just can't wrestle for thirty years against men like Terry Funk, Ricky Steamboat and Dusty Rhodes and not learn a thing or two. Hey, when you win the World title sixteen times you sure as hell learn a couple of things. I know this business better than any other man you'll interview, Todd... I can tell you that for a fact. The experience that I've got can't be compared to the kids around the block today. Today's 'superstars', the likes of Randy Orton and John Cena, were sucking their thumbs I was winning championship gold... Woo! They've got a lot learning to do if they're ever going to catch up with the Nature Boy. '

Arn Anderson seems desperate to get his say in having been nodding in agreement with Flair throughout. As Flair pauses Anderson moves forward getting right in Todd Grisham's face.

Arn Anderson:  ' Let me tell you a story about Lou Thesz... one of the greatest wrestler to ever step foot inside the ring. The man held the NWA World title no less than six times with a combined spell of over ten years as World champion. Lou Thesz could outwrestle just about any man on the planet and he did right through until he was in his sixties! That's right, he was winning titles at age 62 and he even had his last match aged 74! Lou Thesz had so much talent that age wasn't a barrier to him. He kept on fighting and he kept on winning. Now in my eyes Ric Flair, the man before you, is every bit as talented as Lou Thesz was and there damn sure ain't any reason why Ric Flair can't keep on fighting and winning. '

Flair pats Anderson on the back in recognition of his support. Grisham then interjects himself once more to further question Flair.

Todd Grisham:  ' All the same, do you think you'll be able to handle the young and talented AJ Styles this Sunday at 'Dedication'? He's fast building up a reputation as a star of the future. '

Ric Flair:  ' I'll give it to you straight... I don't know a lot about this Styles kid. We've never been in the ring together and I could care less for what he's done in the minor leagues. I don't want to underestimate him too much, I'm sure the kid's got talent but does he have the talent to go toe to toe with the Nature Boy. That's the question... Woo! I've heard he might have a few flashy moves up his sleeve, it's nothing that impresses me. Let me tell you, you don't win World titles with nice little flips. Wrestling ain't about looking pretty... it's about getting the job done. And no matter what it takes we all know I'm the best at getting the job done, even if I've got to ruffle a few feathers and bend a few rules along the way. After all, they don't call me the Dirtiest Player in the Game for nothing... Woo! '

Flair chuckles to himself and struts across the interview area as Grisham tries to come up with another quick question.

Todd Grisham:  ' So you think you can easily handle AJ Styles and go on to great things here in ACW? '

Arn Anderson jumps straight on this one, acting as the Enforcer and getting right in Grisham's face once more.

Arn Anderson:  ' That's exactly what he's just been saying! You need to hear it repeated or something, son? Ric Flair is in ACW for one reason and one reason only. He's gunning for the top spot around here, 'cause for too long he's been disrespected and talked down to by punks like you! '

Ric Flair moves over and tries to calm Anderson down before turning his attention to the camera and giving a few last words.

Ric Flair:  ' I think what Arn is trying to say is that not a lot has changed in twenty years. Back in the day everybody wanted a piece of the champ, everybody wanted a piece of Ric Flair. I had the Armani suits, the Rolex watches and the thousand dollar shoes. The girls wanted me and the guys wanted to be me... Woo! Now not a lot has changed. I'm the exact same limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheeling dealing, son of a gun... Woo! Once I get on a roll in ACW it'll be like old times, like time has stood still. And just like old times I'll have a World title around my waist. '

Flair smiles broadly at the thought of winning a seventeenth World title before continuing with what he was saying.

Ric Flair:  ' The Nature Boy is here stylin' and profilin' as ever... I'm here to grab my spotlight and shine. A couple of grey hairs aren't going to stop me from going right back to the top. Age doesn't mean a thing. Remember, Space Mountain might be the oldest ride but it's still got the longest line... Woo! '

Flair let's out another 'Woo' before strutting out of camera shot, soon to be followed by Arn Anderson. The camera lingers on the bemused looking Todd Grisham before fading out.
