Marie Noack, Executive Director. Benedictine Oblate
Marie Noack is the founder and director of New Beginnings House of Prayer in Houston, Texas.  Marie has been  in retreat and prayer ministry for numerous years, speaking and teaching of the vast life of prayer and spiritual formation.  She also writes retreats and other curriculum, that  have to do with the spiritual formation of life. Marie is a certified spiritual director out of the Vincentian Center for Spirituality and Work in Denver, Colorado and The Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Texas.   You can contact Marie Noack at marienoack@juno.com

Fr. Ed Wade, CC. Spiritual Advisor
Ordained in 1972 and a member of the Companions of the Cross (Catholic Charismatic Community of priests and seminarians). Presesently Associate Director of the Catholic Charismatic center here in Houston, TX. Frequent conference speaker in USA,Canada and Europe.-Also involved with parish missions. A founder of the "Fraternity of Priests" an international renewal movement for priests.
Served at the Franciscan University of Steubenville for seven years in evangelization training and student life. Fr. Ed also has served three years in Belfast, North Ireland working in ecumenical reconiciliation between protestants and catholics. Fr. Ed believes that life in the Spirit  comes bursting through the
Poustinia's of our life,that place where we meet Christ in silence, solitude and prayer.

Denice Foose,  Director of Funding, Benedictine Oblate
Denice Foose is currently on staff at New Beginnings as Director of Funding. Denice currently is a Lay Chaplain in the Houston area and has completed The Acadamy for Spiritual Formation program through the upper room ministries.

Carol Antill, Director of Prayer and Intercessions

                    What New Beginnings House of Prayer Offers:

Prayer — In community or alone in quiet places. Lectio Divina (Sacred Reading of Scripture) and Centering Prayer are practices experienced and taught regularly. Also we daily pray with intercessions, for all prayer requests that come into New Beginnings. We also offer prayers of healing to those who seek wholeness of body, mind and soul.
Benedictine Formation  A Benedictine Formation Program is a monthly program that is led by our Benedictine Oblates. Contact us about how you can be a part of the program or feel led to walk towards becoming a Benedictine Oblate.
The Daily Office
— Praying the psalms and prayers that help us to experience Kingdom living in our own lives.
Retreats
— Daytime and overnight retreats are offered through New Beginnings. Our retreat directors have many years of experience in retreat ministry. Retreats include times of silence, prayer, journaling, Holy Communion, Taize’ services, healing, art, worship, and more. Retreats around many different topics are offered. Contact New Beginnings for a retreat schedule. We also offer various retreats to congregations and Christian organizations. Our directors are available to lead retreats in other locations for those desiring day or overnight retreats.
Spiritual Direction
—  from certified Spiritual Directors. Group and individual direction are available. Our spiritual directors serve as mentors and friends on your spiritual journey, one to help you be connected or reconnected to God and His creation.
Spiritual Formati
on — We offer classes that can help shape you as you journey with God. For all of us spiritual formation happens in different ways. We offer courses which meet our need for community and growth. Some courses offerings include the 7 week course “Spiritual Foundations for Church Leaders,” the LifeTouch series (courses on prayer and spiritual disciplines), “Benedictine studies,” “St. Ignatius,” and others.
