   The Founder of Lady Diva Sorority, best known as Mother Diva to the members of Lady Diva Sorority.  Tennesha Frierson was born May 11, 1974 in Chicago, IL she later attended and graduated from South Shore Community Academy.  After garaduation she attended Wilberforce University in Xenia, OH.  With a strong sense of community and dedication to giving back, Ms. Frierson returned to South Shore Community Academy as a teacher, mentor, and advisor of Lady Diva Sorority.  Her plan to teach young ladies of sisterhood grew from her own sisterhood, Order of the Eastern Star.  Tennesha is also a member of the NAACP and Chicago Urban League.
Ms. Frierson has committed her self to the social and educational advancement of high school females.  To continue a legacy of higher education and giving back to those in the community. 
   
    As Advisor of Lady Diva, she has promoted the idea of high school social organizations in order to help young ladies focus on their future and enjoy their high school experience.  Under the leadership of Ms. Frierson, Lady Diva Sorority has grown, as a respected school organization, with class and sophistication. Ms. Frierson, spends numerous hours on community service projects along with Diva members.  As a hard working, dedicated advisor to Diva each member is made to feel apart of the organization.

Simply to say: "It takes a LADY to teach others to be a LADY"
