A young BOY GEORGE pestered his idol DAVID BOWIE so much his wife ANGIE had to tell him to"f*** off" - delighting the young singer. The former CULTURE CLUB was a self-confessed devotee of Bowie as a teenager in the seventies - and used to hang around the FAME star's London house - which eventually caused Angie to lay down the law. George laughs, "Angie Bowie told me to f**k off - and it was the highlight of my year!" However, the star says that fans nowadays wouldn't have the sense of humour to deal with such a put down. He says, "Nowadays fans have no sense of humour. If I said that they'd be like, 'I'm not buying your records anymore.'" ANGIE BOWIE MENU
