Neighborhood Home Services was started in Metairie, Louisiana in 2003 by Lenny Vasbinder. I have been doing lawn and garden care, home improvement projects and virtually every type of small home job that every homeowner faces but does not have the time to do themselves. After semi-retiring from my previous business as a Private Investigator, I found that I have lots of time on my hands and I am in the process of giving a facelift to my home and I love doing home improvement and repair projects so much that I decided to make it into a business. You know the old saying about starting a business... "Find something you like to do and you will be successful at it!", so here I am.
I just started this website in April 2003 so it is under construction right now but I will be adding pages with pictures outlining before and after projects from existing and prior customers.
No job is too big or too small for Neighborhood Home Services and our sub-contractors. Please feel free to e-mail or call me for a FREE estimate on your job or project. I take pride in my work and will also act as your agent when using other contractors to do work that I do not specialize in. As your "Homeowner's Contractor Agent", I will first use my 15 years of experience as a Private Investigator to thoroughly check out each and every Contractor that works on any job. I will also work as a technician or helper with the contractor so I will be hands-on working in every phase of the project to oversee that the contractor is not over-charging you or using sub-standard products or services.
You've seen the many horror stories on the various news programs about contractors who have done shoddy work or ripped off homeowners. Do not let this happen to you.
