Social Events for March, 2009
Mar. 4 Happy hour 5:30p.m. at Beef O’ Brady’s Pearl & Drake Rd. Strongsville $5 hamburger’s and 75 cents off of drinks.
Mar. 6 Fish Fry at the German American Cultural Club. It is located at 7370 Columbia Rd. Olmsted Falls. Meet at the entrance at 6:30 p.m. so we can all sit together.
Mar. 10 Happy Hour at Forest City Yacht Club at 5:30 p.m. Bring wine, your own glass & a dish to share. Social meeting starts at 7:00 p.m

Mar. 12 Happy Hour at Geppetto’s and Johnny Malloy’s (one of the same), at 5:30 p.m., 17103 Detroit Road, Lakewood, 216-529-1400. $1.50 pint of beer, rigatoni and pizza are complimentary snacks. Then on to the Beck Center,17801 Detroit Road, Lakewood, OH, $10.00 dress rehearsal of The Farnsworth Invention at 8 p.m. We will meet in the lobby at 7:30 p.m
Mar. 20 Fish Fry at St. Noel's Church. It is located at 35200 Chardon Rd. in Willoughby Hills. All you can eat for about $10.00 serving from 4:30 p.m. to 7:3 p.m. Meet at the door at 6:30 p.m. After dinner we can head down the road to the Firehouse or elsewhere for more fun and libation.
Mar. 21 Cleveland Power Squadron Presents our very popular Corn Beef & Cabbage dinner and Reverse Raffle at Forest City Yacht Club 6:00 p.m $9.00/person. MainBoard $10/ea.
Mar. 26 Blue Canyon, 8960 Wilcox Dr., Twinsburg, located at the intersection of I-480 and S/R 82 just West of the Cracker Barrel Restaurant. Happy Hour drink prices and the burgers and fries are $5.00.
Mar. 28 7:00 p.m 2009 Moondog Coronation Ball sponsored by Magic 105.7 at The Quicken Loans Arena. I will ordering tickets for those that want to go and let me know by Wednesday, March 11th. This year the performers are Little Richard, Three Dog Night, Tommy James and the Shoundells, Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone and Jerry Butler. I am going to try to get the $32.00 tickets, rather than the $47.00 and $62.00 tickets.
