| We picked Whipster (alias: Curlytoes) up on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the Raleigh area from a great lady named Patti. Patti does so much for our green friends that I just had to get involved! Within one week we had a couple lined up to take him. Who could resist such a sweetheart!? He was an easy ig to care for and never once tried to bite. Just liked to whip occasionally, thus the daughter temporarily named him "Whipper Snapper". His new family has named him Iggy. He is 26 inches long and very healthy. Aside from a pierced dewlap and a few broken toes (one's missing). Heaven only knows what he's been through! He's a very lucky guy. His new "mommy" and I have kept in touch and he's very happy. More updates to come soon..... Update: May 11, 2001 Went to visit "iggy" yesterday and was very impressed with his progress. He is extremely tame and is now 40 inches. His new mommy is doing great with him! |
