Our very first field experience was a trip to Concord Regional Airport.
Students got a behind-the-scenes look at everything from the hangers of their favorite NASCAR drivers to the firemen's TV lounge.

Firemen can use a special heat camera to help find victims of a house fire.  Here you can see the image of the students heat on the screen of the camera.
Students got an insiders look at the firestation at Concord Regional Airport.  Here the girls are getting to see some of the tools kept on the fire truck.
The board room turns into a temporary classroom as Mr. Glenn explains the importance of Concord Regional Airport to local businesses.
Students were able to see the runway from the air traffic controller's point of view.  The highlight for many of the girls was getting to see Concord Mills Mall from the air tower!
