NEW CARLISLE HOMETOWN DAYS PARADE

Parade Policies:

1. Parade entry forms should be received by the HomeTown Days Parade Chairman on or before the July 12 entry deadline. A late entry fee of $10 will assessed for entries received after July 12 and before July 25. Entries submitted on the day of the parade will require a payment of $20.

2. Late entries will not be eligible for judging or awards, receiving no participation certificates or be included in print advertising.

3. Parade organizers reserve the right to reject any entry. Please keep in mind that our festival is geared towards families and reflects family values.

4.
Absolutely nothing is to be thrown or tossed from any vehicle, float or marching unit along the parade route. The rule will be strictly enforced to insure the safety of everyone. Items may be handed out by persons walking alongside the parade unit.

5. All animal units must provide their own clean up before, during and after the parade.

6. All vehicle operators must have a vaid motor vehicle operator's license and proof of insurance.

7. Once your entry is approved, parade line up times and locations will be sent to your contact person after the entry deadline. Numbered unit placement signs will be provided at check in on the day of the parade. These signs must be prominently displayed so your unit can be properly identified at parade line up and by the judges.

8. Plaques will be presented to units that are judged to be the best in their division. All others will receive participation certificates.
