One of the most known archeological sites in South America is composed by big figures and lines drawn on the surface of the desert (Called Geoglyphs) near to the city of Nazca, in the South of Peru. Some of these figures measure more than 100 meters of length, and these biggest Geoglyphs can only be seen from the air. Geoglyphs are located in diverse desertic areas of Peru and in the North zone of Chile, but the most important site and the one that contains the biggest diversity of lines and figures, is that, located near to Nazca. In this place, Geoglyphs are located on the dry tablelands among river valleys near to the foothills of the Andes.

Diverse theories have been proposed trying to explain the meaning and origin from esoteric conceptions : astro extraterrestrials theories, totemic, arqueo-astronomic and academic science. Nevertheless, until now, not any satisfactory explanation has been presented about the origin of these lines and figures in the middle of the desert. Because of this reason, this site has been called "ONE OF THE MOST DESCONCERTING ENIGMAS OF ARCHEOLOGY"
