Grind all the masala ingredients from 1-7 with onions and make it into a paste. Add salt and rub this masala over the chicken pieces and set aside for an hour for marinating.
Heat the dalda or oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces with marinade for 30 minutes. Then add tomatoes and fry over low heat until the chicken is tender. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
