"Dzuli" - Daniel

"Dzuli, and I wanted that dream to last forever - oh my Dzuli"

The Yugoslav Final was held on March 4th at the Novi Sad TV Studios.  The winning song was chosen by the votes of 8 regional juries.  Songs 10 and 12 were sung in Albanian.

Daniel had already taken part in the 1975 Yugoslav Semi-Final - singing under the name Milovan Popovic, and was 11th equal in the 1976 Yugoslav Final as a member of the group Entuzijasti.  At the Eurovision he was 4th. His backing singers at the contest were the Barudzija Sisters (Eleonora & Izolda). Izolda had already represented Yugoslavia in 1982 as a member of Aska.
