"Uma flor de verde pinho" - Carlos Do Carmo
The Portuguese Final was held on March 7th at the RTP TV Studios in Lisbon, hosted by Ana Zanatti & Eládio Clímaco. All of the songs were performed by Carlos Do Carmo, and the winner was chosen by postcard voting, with the results being presented as percentages of the total number of votes received. In the early 1990's a CD album was released containing all 8 of the songs plus 2 songs that didn't make the final.
