Linda Martin previously participated in the Irish Finals of 1976, 1977, 1978 and 1982 in the group Chips. At the ESC, she came 2nd. Sheeba represented Ireland in the 1981 ESC, and one of the members of the group - Maxi - also represented Ireland in 1973.
