The Greek Final was held at the ERT TV Studios on March 18th, hosted by Mako Georgiadou. The winning song was chosen by a jury of 50 people composed of a mixture of "experts" and members of the public.

Christie Stassinopoulou previously came 2nd in the 1979 Greek Final. At the ESC, she came 14th. Cleopatra went on to represent Greece in ESC 1992.
