Florida's Water

By Nathan Davy

Florida's water resources have long been a major concern, but particularly after the drought and subsequent crises that plagued various parts between 2000 and 2002.  Florida has a vast resource to draw upon, the Floridan aquifer, as well as other surficial water resources.  As it embarks upon the twenty-first century the question becomes, how long will it last, and what can we do to protect it, and help it last as long as possible.  The answers we find now to these pressing questions will help determine what Florida will be like for future generations.
