A BRIDGE TOO FAR???...

The North Shore Wargames Club to host the New Zealand's National Wargames Competition in Easter Weekend 2003!

Above: "Bugger this for a game of soldiers, lets go to the pub..." The high command of the North Shore Wargames Club meets to
decide how the operation should be handled (note hands in pockets...).

"Now it's time for some serious toy soldiers boys and girls, we're about to be invaded by the rest of the country..." this quote was heard muttered a few weeks ago at the HQ for the North Shore Wargames Club.
A declaration of NATCON made at Christchurch last year was finalized and the date set for Easter Weekend 2003 - Friday 18th of April till Sunday 20th of April. The location of this series of battles is to be held in Browns Bay, at the East Coast Bays Leisure Centre on Bute Road.
Command staff expect the enemy invasion to use air transports, passenger cars and troop trains. However according to intelligence reports so far, they do not expect any paratroop assaults, nor any beach landing assaults.

For further information, citizens are requested to contact their local Registrar, Philip Abela

SHOCK NEWS! Armies march on their stomachs, or so we are told...

The venue for the Prize giving dinner is the Bayside Bar and Grill (101 Clyde Rd, Browns Bay), within walking distance of the convention venue, just around the corner in fact.
There are no more seats available at the dinner venue - it is sold out.
On site catering will be made available once again. The usual assortment of pies, savories, drinks, chocolate and salted snacks. With selection of hot meals to be made available as well. Bring your own cup and we'll give you free tea and coffee. This is not a licensed venue.
