Tom and Jacki both come from 2 parent families who were married for many years. Jacki's parents have been married for 44 years and Tom's parents were married for 42 years before Tom's mom passed away. Their grandparents were married over 50 years also! Both, Tom and Jacki, are the oldest with 2 younger brothers. Although Tom is 8 years older than Jacki, their brothers are the same ages! With 3 nieces and a nephew on Tom's side (3 hours away) and 3 nieces and 2 nephews (15 minutes away) on Jacki's side, your child will have many relatives with which to play and create wonderful family memories. Both sides of our family are very excited and supportive of our plan to bring a child into our family.

Tom and Jacki met through a Christian dating service in 1995. It took Tom 2 1/2 years to realize he couldn't live without Jacki. The Christmas holidays of 1997 brought us to the top of a mountain in Pennsylvania to a church camp that Tom had attended as a child with his family. It was there, underneath a 50 foot cross, that Tom asked Jacki to marry him and to be the mother of his children. We have been happily married for 6 years on July 4, 2004. We live only a few blocks from great schools and the local hospital. There is a beautiful park with a walking track and playground within a mile also. Our home has 3 bedrooms with a closed in play area in the backyard housing a swingset that is just waiting for a child to give it a regular workout. Tom has worked in media for many years in radio and advertising. He now is self-employed as a financial advisor for real estate notes. Tom is wonderful with all kinds of people and loves working with the public. Jacki has been an elementary school teacher for many years and will be working with first graders when school resumes in the fall. Jacki adores her "kids" and plans many wonderful activities that not only teach the children but provide priceless memories of their early schooldays. She recently finished her Masters' Degree in Instructional Technology.

This is our home where we will bring up a child with love.

Tom and Jacki believe that God has been the guiding force in their decisions thus far and that he is leading them to adoption. We will continue to look to him for guidance as we raise our children. We are involved in our church with Tom having produced the weekly radio program and Jacki being involved as the Director of Crafts for the Bible School and previously teaching early childhood Sunday School. We feel that it is of utmost importance to provide our children with a loving Christian home that will help him/her to grow into a well-rounded responsible adult
