Nanotechnology:
The New Threat to Food

Nanotechnology is predicted to become a US$1 trillion dollar industry by 2010.

In a nutshell, nanotechnology is a means to manipulate matter in dimensions as small as molecules and atoms. The industry is rapidly converging with biotech and information technology advances to radically change the nature of food and agricultural production.

Some 200 transnational food corporations are currently investing huge sums of money into nanotechnology R&D to study applications for food production, processing and commercialization of their products. The list includes some of the world's largest food conglomerates: ConAgra, Campbell Soups, Kraft, General Mills, HJ Heinz, Nestle', PepsiCo, SaraLee and Unilever.

Already, over 100 (and some analysts say the number is over 600) food and agricultural products on the shelves TODAY contain manufactured nanomaterials produced using nanotechnology. Nanofoods, as they are called, represents the latest high technology attempt to infiltrate and control our food supply.

Nanotechnology will take the genetic engineering of food (GMO foods) to the next downward level of corporate manipulation and control and into the realm of atomic engineering. According to Ronnie Cummins, director of the Organic Consumers Association, "compared to nanotechnology, I believe the threat of genetic engineering is tame by comparison".

Nanofoods produced using nanotechnology are the complete antithesis of what is commonly referred to today as locally produced organic food through sustainable developmental agriculture. Serious new risks for human health and the environment can only accrue as a result. As with genetically engineered organisms (GMO's), the ingestion of nanofoods will result in the formation of free radicals that can only lead to cancer, DNA mutation, brain damage and massive cell death within the human body. A recent medical study in California has already identified a human nano-symptom which has been given the name of Morgellons disease. Truely, we are in a battle for the future safety and control of our health, well-being and food supply.

It is estimated that the global nano food market will rise to US$20 billion by 2010. It is predicted that nanotechnology will be used in 40% of the world's food industries by 2015.

Applications of nanotechnology in the food industry include manipulating the taste, texture, color, structure, appearance, nutritional content and longevity of food at the atomic level. Today, there are no laws governing the use of nano materials in food and consumer products.

In sumation, knowing how evil and diabolical the global elite operate- through their transnational corporate food empire- the real agenda in creating nanotech foods may be to control, manipulate and modify human behavior as well as destroy the human mind and body as part of an overall global eugenics program to take out 80-90% of the human population on Earth.
