Nana & Papa's House Home  Day Care seek to help prepare preschoolers academically and  socially so that they may secure a good educational foundation in which to build their future on. The first five years of life are in may ways the most critical period in a child's education. The following are just a few changes from infancy to preschool years:
Curiosity - All children develop a desire to investigate during the first weeks and months of their lives. Curiosity is a vital quality for a child in early learning.
Formation of Character - Children who have been taught the importance of hard work and responsibility are much more likely to get good grades. Ideas and habits that are formed during the pre-school years take root and exhibit themselves the rest of their lives.
Social Development - In their early years children gain an understanding of how to treat other and how others will treat them.  These experiences help to shape social behavior through adulthood.
Language Development - The amount of language learned during the first few years is astounding. Language skills learned during the preschool year will determine whether or not a child gets off to a good start in school
