Dear friends,
There are some new updates to features available on our online community.
Please note the following link below for directly updating your current contact details, now stored on a central database. This directory is maintained separately from our geocities website members directory. The additional feature here, is that only approved community members can view your current contact details. This is currently not exposed to everyone on the internet.
The new enhancements will eliminate the need for you to send me an email each time a contact update is necessary. You now have the ability to do so directly with relative ease. Please see the instructions below as a guide.
To Access our egroups members directory, you will need to be a subcribed community member. The following link points you to our database sign on screen(for members).
Alumni database
If you currently receive mail from our Yahoogroups listserve, then simply log into Yahoogroups using the email address you subscribed to the group with. you need to have a yahoo email account for access to the "Alumni" database.
Upcoming Activities
- Registering a Non Profit Organization to support our activities
- Renovating our website into a full fledged web community.
- Involving more Alumni's in future reunion activities, older and younger OB’s are highly encouraged to participate in developing this community.
- Starting an investment club account primarily to invest a portion of membership dues to pay for operational expenses and hopefully basic reunion expenses in subsequent years. Investments in stocks of the Big 4 were suggested, These are companies that have consistently returned earnings that have exceeded the average market indices. The goal is to ensure that our group can grow overtime and survive in future years, when certain services today cease to be free.
