Negative Approach came out of the old Detroit punk scene back in 1981. They were the greatest hardcore band of all time. There may be no other band that has had a greater influence on hardcore. It's a shame that there are so many kids today that have never heard of them (well, now everyone claims to know about NA and how they saw them in Detroit when they were 4 years old). I remember a show a few years ago when a band did a NA cover. The singer asked if anyone had heard of them. Besides myself and some friends, no one acknowledged that they ever existed.
