The Nagas have already asserted their desire to live under a unified Nagaland covering all Naga inhabited areas. There are already strong dissensions against such a demand in the neighbouring states. Can unification be the solution or will it create more problems?

How can reconciliation be best brought about?
Over the months a vigorous debate has been raging in the Naga civil society about the need of reconciliation among its tribes. A poll conducted by NagaTalk confirmed to this when a majority of the respondents voted reconcicliation to be a greater need than even political and economic settlement. The question now is how do we bring it about?

What do you expect from the ongoing peace process?
Seven years and still talking. Nagas today await eagerly for the peace talks that the Indian govt. has taken up with both factions of the NSCN to yield tangible results. What will they really yield? Are the common Nagas optimistic about this?
