Until You 8

A shadow lengthened as the door of Lita's bedroom opened soundlessly. A hooded figure walked into her room and a pair of cold eyes watched Lita's sleeping figure. As he walked nearer to Lita's bed, his powerful figure became obvious and he stopped at the edge of her bed. He looked down at the sleeping woman in front of him and his eyes were surprisingly soft at the mere sight of her.

You're never chance a bit, Jupiter,Ehe whispered softly. He held out his hand and tentatively touched Lita's pale cheek, not wanting to wake her up.

Still as beautiful as ever.EHe stroked her cheek softly. His heartbeat skips a beat when Lita sleepily snuggled to his strokes.

He had been reborn and for years he couldn't remember his past life. He had been living as a son of a very rich and powerful man and his life was so perfect that there was a time when he wondered why. Until one fateful night where a tragedy disturbed his perfect life, killed his parent and left him in coma for three years. No one would ever imagine or thought that he would wake up from his sleep. Or they would ever know what he had been through during his sleep.

He had been dreaming of an angel that kept hovering and trying to touch him but every time he tried to touch her back, she retreated and her emerald eyes filled with fear. He was so confused and angry and unknown feeling rose in his heart every time he looked into those captivating green eyes. During his coma time, the vision of the green-eye woman became clearer and clearer and so did his memories of Lord Ian, Lady Beryl, Moon-Earth battle, Nephrite and Jupiter.

Ian silently and carefully sat on the edge of her bed. I've lost you once to that bastard, Jupiter. His gaze riveted to her luscious and full pink lips and his eyes turned into shards of ice as he tried very hard not kiss her.

I'm never," he swore silently. "I'm never letting you go." Ian suddenly grasped Lita's nape roughly, causing her to snap from her sleep.

For a while, Lita's eyes widened in surprise and then shock. Then a recognition hit her. Those blue eyes that can be so cruel, that sensual lips that had once captured hers and those powerful arms that can hurt her badly. "Ian," A shattered sigh escaped from her lips before she could stop it.

Ian let out a groan and he roughly sought for her lips, robbing all her senses. Lita couldn't think. Her mind was still dizzy and confused from her sleep, her heart was pounding from his kisses and her body was trembling from fear and excitement. As abruptly as he kissed her, he immediately released her. His expression was unreadable.

"I'm never letting you go." A statement that was so sure, so determine that left Lita shaken as she watched Ian teleport.

Please" Lita pleaded to darkness and she shuddered in fear.

"Hey, Lita!" Mina waved at her, smiling. Lita walked slowly towards Mina that was sitting next to Kunzite, laughing at whatever he told her. After Ian paid her a visit last night, Lita seemed couldn't do anything right. She couldn't think, she couldn't feel anybody's present and she kept looking around cautiously, as if afraid that Ian would appear suddenly beside her, snatching her away from her friends and Nephrite. How she hated that teleport ability that the Earth peoples possessed. Lita closed her eyes tightly and shook her head hard. Get a grip, Lita! Tell Nephrite and everything will be alright!

"Hey, guys." Lita greeted brightly. "Where's Maxfield?" Lita sat down but her head turned around looking for him.

"Probably pulling his ear over the board director's new but useless suggestions." Kunzite grinned.

"Meaning he's not going to be here?" Lita's voice was appalling.

"No, he'll be here." Kunzite smiled with conviction. "After all, it's you who wanted to have this meeting, right?"

"Why are you calling us?" Mina looked at Lita who was blushing slightly at Kunzite's remark.

"Why don't we wait for Maxfield first?" Lita suggested.

"Sure."

Lita looked around, expecting to see Nephrite's powerfully body emerged from the thick glass door. After the unexpected visit from Ian last night, Lita realized how dangerous and vulnerable her situation right now, considering she didn't really know how to use her Emerald Crystal and she couldn't lie her friends that her Supreme Thunder Dragon had destroyed not only her apartment but the entire building including the buildings neared because it wasn't logical. If she revealed her secret about Emerald Crystal, she revealed her identity of Princess Jupiter who had been disgrace and humiliated and treated like a slave for twenty years. And they also would know that she had lied to them. Again.

So, she turned to her friends for help. That's why she called for the meeting but excluded Mina and Kunzite, they had promised to help Serena chose for her wedding gown. She chose an exclusive restaurant not because of its great food but the privacy that it offered. Serena had been so excited about her wedding day that Lita was in great reluctant to disturb her happy mood by the Ian incident and her illness. Not when Serena had been so worried when Lady Xiana had came. Lita shivered at mere thought of her former master.

"Are you okay, Lita?" Mina asked when she saw Lita shivered.

"Huh?" Lita was startled but quickly curved a smile. "Sure."

Then, Nephrite walked into the restaurant. His expression was grim and strain. Kunzite gave him a broad smile. "My guess would be that the board directors had just received fouls words from their presidents."

"He yelled at board directors?" Mina looked at Kunzite skeptically.

"Worse. I've heard he even threatened one of that stupid directors that he'll buy all of their shares and operates the company alone if they don't shut up.EKunzite said with pride.

"He did, didn't he?"Lita smiled at Nephrite, who was smiling back at her.

"Hey, sorry I'm late" Nephrite sat beside Lita.

"I'm alright."

"So, Lita. Why are you calling us?" Mina started again.

"Well I'm. I'm sure this will shock you all." Lita nervously played her fingers. The three person around her instantly frowned. "Last night well not really what you call it night. It is three o'clock in the morning."

"Lita," Nephrite held her hand firmly to stop her blubbering the nonsense things."Straight to the point please."

"Ian came last night." Lita blurted. Her statement made Mina gasped, and both of the men raged. Nephrite grasped Lita's upper arm."What did he do to you?"

Lita looked at Nephrite's blue eyes that so identical to Ian's but yet so different. Now it was filled with hatred and anger that reminded Lita to Ian's eyes when he said that he would never let her go. "He..." Her words stuck in her throat when she looked at his eyes. So cold with so much hatred. So much like Ian."Don't look at me like that," Lita pleaded. You...you're scaring me."

Nephrite immediately released her arm. "Why?" Lita stiffened at his accusation and angry and she looked down at her hand again.

"Why?"

Kunzite and Mina looked at each other. Kunzite frowned. He had never seen Nephrite filled with so hatred and now he wondered what had really happened in the past life after he and the other guardians had been killed by the fire. What had happened between Nephrite and Ian to exact.

"Your...your eyes are like Ian and..."

"I'm nothing like him!" Nephrite hissed.

"Yes, you are!" Lita cried, oblivious with her surrounding. "Yours eyes are filled hatred and so cold and so did Ian when he came to me! And you're scaring me!"

Nephrite looked at the woman in front of him, hating to see the fear in her eyes. Slowly, he realized what she was saying and seeing was true. "I'm sorry."

The relief that she felt was so intense that she didn't know how to hide it. This was the man that she knew and loved. "It's okay." Suddenly she felt childish for bursting out like that.

"Ian came to my apartment last night and..."

"You mean, by knocking the door?" Mina asked.

"No,ELita smiled. "I think he teleport himself in."

"What did he say to you?" Nephrite asked quietly. Kunzite could see that he was trying his damnedest to hide his hatred.

"He said that he will never let me go." Lita saw the fear in three of the person in front of her.

"Nor will I," Nephrite said grimly.

The shiny black Porsche parked into a private parking lot. Kunzite had endured Nephrite's grim silence after their meeting with Lita and Mina and Nephrite's silence had convinced him more that something had happened between Ian and Nephrite that the other guardians didn't know. And, he was going to find no matter what. "Nephrite." Kunzite called after him.

"What?" Nephrite glanced back.

"We need to talk after this."

Nephrite frowned at Kunzite's authority tone and he knew that there was something that Kunzite displeased of. It was about him.
